Nice place close to downtown LaCrosse and within walking distance of neighborhood bars. Houghton’s is at the end of the street and has good food. Tom was quick to respond and extremely nice.

Nice. I would add a higher power lightbulb in bedroom with smaller bedroom. Some people like to read before bed.

Overall good place. There was food in the fridge when we got there. The pullout couch is ok. Have you thought about not having the big dresser in the twin room and putting in a full size bed? Would make it more comfortable for couples. Thanks.

I’m a dog owner so do understand dog friendly but was a little surprised by the amount of dog hair that was present. Other than that very clean and excellent location for what we needed.

My wife and I stayed at Jake's Place while visiting our daughter, who is attending UW La Crosse. The house worked great for the two of us. Plenty of room. It would work well for four also, but I'd bring an inflatable mattress for the 2nd bedroom (has a twin bed.) The couch, in the Livingroom, unfolds to a bed, but I personally don't find them comfortable. The house is close to the University, restaurants, stores. Check in was easy. The owners replied quickly, and were very helpful with any questions I had.
