Ironton Stone Cottage near Lake Charlevoix The Beautiful - 5min Walk-to-beach!

Very comfortable and clean, great location near beach and short drive into Charlevoix

Lovely cottage! Very Clean! Our family used it as a base to travel to different areas and ski, it was in a great location for us.

Clean throughout and a very comfortable (main) bed. As others have noted, it is very close to a highway with a fair amount of traffic of all types. This is a good thing if you are driving to nearby locations, not so good if you are walking around the neighborhood. Centrally located between Charlevoix, Boyne City and East Jordan, close to the ferry. While the washer and dryer are listed as an amenity, you need to ask for access.

Great location just minutes from Charlevoix but away from the busy part of town. Very close to the boat launch. The house was very clean and comfortable.

The Ironton Stone Cottage was centrally located for all of the activities we had planned for our trip north. The bed was super comfy, and the kitchen had everything you would need. Our host responded immediately to questions. There is a television; however, it does not have local service. We were unable to stream our services, since we were from out of state, nor could we stream from our phone to the TV. Our only major complaint was that the lawn service arrived at 7:30 a.m. to mow and weed whip. We would stay at the cottage again.

The place was very nice, nicely appointed, attractive, and the interior shots matched the real appearance. Literally the only thing that stops it from getting a 5-star rating was that its location is right on a mildly busy 55 mph road and that is not in the description. If it were in the description, however, I probably would still choose it.

Very clean and nicely equipped with everything you need. Beds are super comfy and kitchen has everything you would need. Convenient location near everything.

The cottage was clean and as pictured, but it was closer to the road than we expected. Fortunately, road noise while sleeping was minimal. A few more written helps (such as where to find the beach equipment or how to lock the door) would be good. The main bed was super comfy and the towels were fabulous but we like a more robust shower head and a small bathroom table on which to place items. Overall, the cottage was cute and well supplied and the host responded quickly to questions.

Beautiful cottage, immaculately clean. We enjoyed using the Stone Cottage as our home base as we day-tripped around Northern MI. The bed was very comfortable & we enjoyed using the well-stocked kitchen.

It is a lovely cottage with easy access to Charlevoix, state parks, the beach, as well as groceries and restaurants.

Easy and comfortable place to stay!

We had such a great time at the cottage! It was the perfect mix of relaxation and fun over winter break! Renita was so helpful with our questions beforehand and it was a super easy booking process. We loved that we were just 10 minutes from downtown for dining and ice cream! And less than 30 minutes from Boyne mountain resort where we enjoyed the Waterpark, the skybridge and snow tubing! The cottage was so clean and had everything we needed! Would love to come back in season to enjoy the summer activities and beach! We were also thankful we were able to bring our small dog with us on the trip! Great hosts, great home, great stay!

When staying in Northern Michigan, we are used to the rustic cabin experience. This cabin, however, felt like a wonderful resort. All amenities were thought of, the beds/pillows were SO comfortable. The location to get to other areas like Traverse City and Petoskey was perfect. I realized the day of arrival that I hadn't put our pet down as coming. Renita responded immediately and we were able to get it sorted with no delay in our plans. Truly, of all Vrbos I have stayed in, this one is definitely at the top for overall value and comfort

Our visit to Charlevious was wonderful. The stone cottage had everything that you need to make your stay comfortable. Very clean and well kept. We would stay there again.

Very nice place. We were impressed by the beach which is just a short walk away. Boat launch is also very close and convenient. The house is very comfortable and clean. It fit our family of five just right!

Everything was excellent and hosts were responsive to a door issue and a propane tank fill. Very comfortable and enjoyable!

We were impressed by the cleanliness of the property and attention to detail. The house was beautifully decorated, cozy, and equipped with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen and bathroom were both well stocked with all the necessities. The location was close enough to visit downtown areas, yet tucked away to enjoy a reprieve from the hustle and bustle of a holiday week.

Our family loved staying here, the location was convenient and the house is so cute. The details were really well thought out for what was needed during our stay- linens, coffee maker, kitchen items, etc were all new and super clean. Beds were ver comfortable. Furnishings were beautiful and I especially loved the artwork. We had two adults and 3 kids and were very comfortable. I let grandpa have the big bed and i slept in the room with my kids. There is a twin over double or queen bunk bed with a twin trundle underneath. We loved it!
