Stayed Sep 24, 2025We had a great stay right on Lake Sutherland, which was great for swimming and paddle boarding. It was also close to Lake Creacent, which offered Olympic National Park trails and the lodge, and it’s not far to the Sol Duc Valley section of the park. The house is reasonably well equipped and has a big dining area and living room. The TV is enormous. Access is easy and there’s a general store just up the road.

Stayed Sep 4, 2025This was our 2nd stay at Birds Landing. The home is huge and all one level (wonderful for older folks or those with bad knees) and was perfect for our family of four. The large pub-height dining table was the perfect spot for family meals and after dinner puzzles and games.The two docks and massive deck were great for relaxing and enjoying the view and the selection of water toys kept us out on the lake for hours!Lake Sutherland is a hidden gem, and Birds Landing is the best spot from which to enjoy it.

Stayed Jul 24, 2025This property worked really well for our trip. The location is perfect. The accommodations were comfortable. There were a few minor issues, some we didn't report. The owners voluntarily refunded some for the inconveniences.I would highly recommend this property if you're looking to be right on a lake in a beautiful spot.

Stayed Jul 16, 2025Great location, amazing view, comfortable house. We loved having our morning coffee on the deck, with that amazing view of the stunningly beautiful lake. Paddleboards and kayaks were so fun! We’ll definitely be returning to this property in the future!

Stayed Oct 15, 2024Enjoyed the Olympic National park and the Lake. We had wind, rain and gorgeous sunshine. House was so comfy and enjoyable. Sol Duc Falls and Hurricane Ridge were awesome. Hall of mosses, Marymere falls and Madison Falls were great!! Eagles were going wild and the ducks were hiding under the docks. It was another great trip. Thank you for opening your home for us.
