Idyllic guest house in Tuscan country house style with swimming pool

We loved our four night stay at Irene's guest house. It was the perfect spot for taking day trips visiting the wonderful towns of Tuscany. We especially liked the full kitchen and large, comfortable rooms. Swimming in the heated pool was a great way to end a long day of sightseeing and exploring the region. Everything was perfect and we would highly recommend this property.

We had a lovely stay in the Tuscan countryside. The house was well-appointed and Ms. Flaks and her family were excellent hosts. We enjoyed taking a dip in the pool after exploring nearby towns. We also were happy to be greeted by the dogs.

Many many thanks to Irene and her family for our stay in Sinalunga! The house and property are beautiful — even better than the pictures and we loved using it as our base to explore the surrounding towns. We also loved relaxing by the pool, and getting to meet the friendly dogs — particularly Nera who always greeted us every morning. Irene is a wonderful, accommodating host and we cannot wait to return in the future!

This gem might be our best stay ever. We were running late because of my directions mistake and arrived an hour and a half late. As we unloading knowing we hadn’t ate, Irene and her friend invited us to dinner in her home on the patio. It was amazing food with super friendly hosts. The dogs are great and the guest house we stayed in was amazing. The pool is available anytime. You be hard pressed to find a better location to discover all of Tuscany. Danielle does a wonderful job, she knows no English but translates and goes out of her way to make your stay one you won’t forget. The AC is a plus with the warm summer days remaining.

A good and nice place to be, especially when you like dogs.

The countryside on the way from the picturesque medieval town of Sinalunga, was spectacular and the surrounding countryside and villages were the prettiest we’ve ever seen. The housekeeper, Daniella, took care of all our needs on site and got us the house olive oil and wine when we requested to buy them. She was an absolute sweetheart with a warm heart and a smile as bright as the Tuscan sunrise.

A wonderful experience. Daniele was superb and very attentive. The views were stunning from all sides of the property. The grounds with the olive trees and vines was beautiful and peaceful. We would love to return in the warmer months as I would imagine the pool area and options for BBQ's would make it an even better experience, if that's possible. The dogs - Tito, Nera and Freya - were adorable and sat by our doorstep every night to watch over us. Irene, the owner, was great in communicating with us in the lead up to and during our stay. We would definitely love to return

Lovely accommodation surrounded by olive trees and vineyards. Quiet and relaxing time, loved sitting by the pool. Friendly caretaker and three dogs to keep us entertained! Irene was wonderful in answering all our questions. It feels far away but a short drive to many wonderful places to visit.

This property is as beautiful as it is shown in the pictures. The pool area is private and serene. The house is well equipped and decorated in a true country Tuscan style. So cozy and welcoming. Communication was easy with Irene and any questions were answered promptly. Upon arrival the manager Daniela was there to meet me. She didn't speak English but Irene was available via phone and google translate worked well most of the time. I can't state enough how amazing Daniela and the others who help mange the property were. She even brought her daughter one day at the beginning to help translate and explain things in the house. I had some issues with the WIFI as I needed to attend a few Zoom meetings. They did everything possible to help solve my issues and we managed a temporary solution to accommodate those times when I needed a stronger connection. I travel quite extensively and realize certain places (especially rural areas) have limited connectivity so I was thankful it all worked out. It was also a great location to get to many of the small quaint towns in Tuscany and Umbria. Generally no more than an hour or (max) two hour drive to any of these great towns. Thank you for a wonderful and relaxing stay. I highly recommend this property.

Owner greeted us with wine from her vineyard and homemade pasta and sauce for our first night’s dinner. Three gentle German Shepherds kept watch over us while on the property. The pool is amazing surrounded by lavender and rosemary. This property lived up to the Tuscan Dream. Thanks again Irene for making our stay so memorable.
