This condo was excellent, one of the best we have stayed in at Collins Lake. It was clean, well equipped and over a great experience. Thanks for allowing us to make memories there.
It was great! The condo was clean, well-equipped and well-appointed. I was able to cook for a gaggle for teenage boys with no problem and it was a joy to have them all sit down and eat together at the dining room table. The couch was huge and the master was in the perfect spot to not have to hear all those boys. Perfection.
My daughter and I had a lovely stay - the property was clean and exactly as described and we liked that it was walking distance to town!
Such a great set up. Thank you so much.
The house had everything 2 couples and some children needed to enjoy skiing and time together.
The condo was clean, well maintained, close to the pool, and had plenty of space for our family. The communications about the unit were complete and accurate. It was great to stay there for our ski trip.
Our time here was delightful. Skiing is close, hot tub and pool were great ways to end the day and the home was clean and spacious. The garage was perfect for our gear after a day on the slopes. We hope to return as the distance to the airport makes this a perfect get away!
We had an awesome time
We had a very fun time staying at this condo! It is super close to Ski Bowl and close to Timberline as well. The owner was very communicative and clear so check in was super easy.
We enjoyed our stay in this condo in Government Camp. It was clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed the recreation facilities (pool and sauna). We liked that it was close to skiing and other mountain recreation. I would recommend Collin’s Lake and this condo. We had a few messages from the owner that will cause me to look at different options in the same neighborhood for our next visit. First, there was an extra up-charge after our original booking because they said they hadn’t updated their prices in VRBO. It wasn’t too substantial, so I paid it and planned to enjoy my stay and not mention it in my review. Then, after our stay I received a text message that they were upset that we parked 2 cars in the garage. This was confusing because their check-in directions listed that as an option. It is winter time with snowy weather and the garage would have needed swept, which would take more housekeeping time, but I don’t know what I could have done about this to appease the owners. They never wrote a reply to my reply (I guess I’ll see that in their review of me after I submit this review?)
Love the proximity to pools and hot tubs.
This was an amazing trip, we loved everything this property had to offer mostly including the fact that the leisure tub was located right behind the building! Thank you!
Nice location near pool, lodge, and trail to collins lake.
A lovely condo with nice amenities and well stocked. The owner was very responsive and accommodating. Very clean and well kept.
The good: This is a nice location close to hikes and the general store and the lodge. It has nice amenities like access to the pool hot tub, and even a sauna. It has a fun walkabout for the kiddo. The kitchen is very well appointed. We forgot some things and found solutions to our problem because the kitchen had what we needed. It has a good amount of beds and rooms. We went with our family of 3 and my parents. The not so good: The upstairs hall bathroom had a rather dirty floor--hairs and dust and such. I don't consider myself to be super picky but I noted it. And I think the biggest con was how FRAGRANT the linens were. Even my husband said it made him snuffly. In the laundry I noted a very fragrant small bottle in the trash but there was a big bottle of something not fragrant free and clear. Maybe it was just bad timing, because it wasn't like this last time. If you're not bothered by fragrances, and you don't mind having to do a load of laundry before you go, I thought it was a good deal. I hope this is helpful.
We had a big family in for a wedding Collins Lake resort was great place to stay. multiple families in their own space but close enough to easily gather and find each other.
We had a great time in Government Camp. There was plenty of space for our family of 5. Kitchen was good and had everything we needed for breakfast, and would have been good for other meals if we'd been there. We would stay here again if we come back.
The property was just what we were looking for! Very spacious, the best location and a very well stocked kitchen. The back patio was by far my favorite place to go every morning/evening to read my book and have a coffee/cocktail. It backed up against the trees and was so quiet and serene. The walking path starts and ends right by the building and is a lovely place to take your kids. Walking distance to town. Absolutely no complaints.
We stayed a week at the condo. Two adults and a 10 month old. We had no issues parking our Suburban in the garage. The location is ideal. It is a three story unit with garage on lower, kitchen/living on second, and bedrooms on 3rd level. The condo was poorly cleaned during our stay and we received a refund of one night due to that. The kitchen/living area could use some basic curtains and the mattress pads and comforters look as if they haven’t been washed in some time. The unit was challenging with a ten month old as there are three flights of stairs and a fireplace without any baby proofing options. The ac/heating unit is programmed at owners set temperature and resets at certain times. The condo is stocked with basic necessities and kitchen staples which was convenient. The walls to the adjacent condo are thin and it sounded like bowling balls dropping down the stairs every time the neighbors moved about their unit. Unfortunately that can’t be controlled but is a possibility if you have inconsiderate neighbors. The check out instructions require you to take out all the trash which is located at the top of the resort and do a load of towels and dry them.
