Stayed Jul 27, 2025Great location with short walk across private beach access for that little neighborhood area. Nice beach that was uncrowded. House was comfortable. Kids enjoyed upstairs room with bunks. A couple small issues with doors sticking, one of the golf carts not working initially etc but property manager was responsive. Overall great trip!

Stayed Jul 13, 2025Positives: Host was very responsive. 6 passenger golf cart was awesome! House is close to the beach, but you cannot see the beach unless you look out the windows on the 3rd floor kids room. Home is dog friendly with gates on porch, etc. Negatives: House was clean but felt worn. Bathroom hardware missing in hall bathroom, bath drain not working properly, furniture missing knobs, broken blinds, rusty bath hardware and the master bedroom mattress was not comfortable for us (very soft mattress). Owner needs to go through the house and take notes on what needs to be fixed. Air filters had not been changed in a long time.

Stayed Apr 18, 2025We have stayed at BHI 3 times now and this was by far our best experience. Great home, host, and proximity to everything. The new kart made it especially fun for the kids with the built in sound system. Highly reccomend and looking forward to going back.

Stayed Apr 11, 2025Killegray ridge is one of the BHI areas I had never stayed and the area and beach accesses are lovely. House is comfortable and well equipped with 2 carts, one being a top of the line 6 seater. Josh is a great property owner and responds quickly.

Stayed Mar 23, 2025Owner was super responsive. Location to beach access path was literally across the street. Great space for me and my family nanny. Kids loved being on the third floor by themselves. New 6-seater golf cart was a nice to have as well. Would definitely recommend!

Stayed Jul 14, 2024This was our fourth time staying on Bald Head Island. We always enjoy time away at Bald Head. This was our first time staying at this house, and of all the places that we have stayed, this is our favorite on the island. The house was in great condition, exactly as described in the listing. Everything we needed to enjoy our time on the island was there and in good condition. The location worked great. Easy short walk to the beach, or hop in the carts and head over to the East Beach. Getting to the market and shops is easy from this location. For our next time going to Bald Head, would definitely plan to return to this house. Josh, the owner, did a great job of rapidly responding to any questions. Highly recommend this house.

Stayed Jun 23, 2024We loved this property and cannot rave enough about Josh, the property owner. We had a little trouble with one of the golf carts and he quickly provided a rental and even refunded us $100 for our trouble. A not working golf cart in BHI is pretty difficult so that was amazing. The house worked really well for 2 families of 4. All the kids had plenty of room to bunk upstairs. We are also so grateful they are pet friendly, as our yorkie and friend's schnauzer are best buddies and had a blast. It was so close to the beach, I felt comfortable sending my 9 year old back to the house on his own when he was ready to leave the beach. It was an awesome/perfect week.

Stayed May 18, 2024We would definitely stay again! As a matter of fact we looked to see if there was availability later this summer. The only negative comment we had was the golf carts could use a little update.
