House with garden, in residence with heated pool 200 m away, sea 400 m away.

Although smaller than expected, this property was lovely and had everything we needed, it was very well equipped. The location was perfect for us and we were very close also to the swimming pool. The only issue we had was finding the property and the parking space associated - the estate is quite confusing, and the door number also had one of the numbers missing which didn't help, and we never found our parking space number the whole holiday. All in all this is a very nice house and we would happily stay here again.

Normandie is a beautiful area and we enjoyed seeing so many impressings places.

I recently stayed at this rental with my father, and overall, our experience was quite average. Good Points: - Communication with the host was smooth and efficient. Bad Points: - There was no toilet roll provided, which I believe should be a standard amenity in any rental. - The address plaque was missing a number making finding the property very troublesome. - The listing mentioned that no bed linen was provided, so we were aware of this beforehand. However, it was still quite odd and inconvenient to have to bring our own or pay extra for bed linen. The price for hiring the bed linen was extortionate, especially considering the overall cost of the rental. - There were several food items, including coffee and tea, left in the cupboards, but many were well out of date. This lack of attention to detail was disappointing and made us question the overall cleanliness and upkeep of the place. - Finding the car parking space was a real challenge. A map or clearer instructions would be very useful for future guests. We ended up using a space outside the complex, which was not ideal. - The lamp in the room with the bunk beds had a faulty cable, causing it to flicker on and off unless positioned just right. This was quite annoying and could potentially be a safety hazard. While there were some positives, the numerous small issues added up, making the stay less enjoyable than it could have been. Improvements in these areas could really make a difference for future guests.

Overall we had a very enjoyable holiday at this property! The proximity to Port Guillaume, Dives, Cabourg and the beach, as well as access to a private pool meant there was always something to do to keep our young family entertained. Every day was a busy day and the outstanding weather enabled us to explore a wide variety of activities and days out, suitable for the whole family (3 boys aged 3-5). We will definitely be returning another year ?

During our stay, on several occasions, we were unfortunate enough to experience electric shocks from the kitchen appliances. As these began to happen more frequently, and with more severity, during our stay, we had to limit the use of the kitchen and also stop our children from using this area at all. We did not find the owner very responsive to this issue, in light of the severity, was concerning and disappointing. We have asked for compensation from the owner, as this did effect the enjoyment of our holiday, so far we are still waiting a reply!

You can easily walk to the city center, the beach or even Carbourg. Its a great starting point when you want to travel up and down the different sights along the coast. Sandrine was fast to respond to questions.

Dives Sur Mer and nearby Cabourg, both charming. Great sandy beach nearby, overall a great place to stay.

Ideal location, very quiet and easy access to the marina and restaurants. Pleasant walk into town with more restaurants. Easy walk into Cabourg over the bridge over the river Dives

the area is fantastic with lots of lovely walks around the marina, river and sea front or all three, the only downside to this was that the bridge across the river closes at 8pm and does not open until 9am, why? the property is very good, everything you need to make your holiday enjoyable, only 2 small con's,1, we felt the double bed was to large for the room, my wife banged her leg several times trying to maneuver between the wall and the bed. 2, the toilet was downstairs which wouldn't have been a problem but we had my wifes mother with us who is in her late 80s and found it slightly embarrassing but i still think its worth 5 stars

A real home from home very pleasant surroundings. Highly recommended.
