house / villa - Saint Malo

Anne gave us a wonderful welcome. We even had a sign with our names on for the parking space. She gave us lots of information and ideas for places to visit and having a bus stop nearby meant we could leave the car when we visited the old walled City of St Malo. The stunning beach was just 5 minutes walk and we were able to store our bikes in the covered shelter of the garden which is much larger than the photos show. The bedroom was amazing and the whole property was beautifully furnished and well equipped. We can’t think of anything that would improve it. Anne had done an amazing job. There was a small supermarket within walking distance and a large one just 5 minutes by car and it was also on the number 6 bus route to the city centre. We cycled from the property through stunning countryside and saw some fabulous coastal views. Being on the edge of the city meant we could avoid the traffic. We would love to be able to return to this property and highly recommend it.

Ann, the owner, is very friendly and helpful. She gave us a very warm welcome. She has this nice small house close to the beach. (5 min !!! No dogs allowed at the beach). Supermarkets close by (5 min). Kitchen is a bit small, but that’s not an issue: The centre of Saint Malo (bus 8 - Intra Mura is 10 minutes) had loads of nice restaurants ? and a nice atmosphere. Location of property: a bit outside the centre of Saint Malo in a quiet neighboarhood

We stayed in August 2018 for 9 nights in this house. It is located in a very nice suburb of Saint Malo. The house provides sufficient room for 4 persons, was very nicely furnished and provided everything we needed. The kids loved the garden and the ping pong table a lot as well as the tennis court behind the house. The beach is within few minutes walking distance. It is a sand beach and at low tide there are rocks to climb on. Intra Muros is only a few minutes by car away. Tourist attractions as Mont Saint Michel and Dinan can easily be reached by car. Anne gave us a warm welcome when we arrived. She is very nice and helpful and provided a lot of information. We had a great time and recommend it to everyone.

Retour de Peche is more than a holiday home. Because of the special attention for details the holiday home feels like a real home. We have never felt more welcome. The owners are very friendly and do go the extra mile. Highly recommended!

We spent a fantastic holyday in Saint-Malo in June 2013. The duplex is very cosy, clean and well equipped. There is everything you need. The location is convenient. We travelled with a small child of 1.5 year. There is a quiet beach in 10 minutes on foot where our boy could run, a supermarket in 7 minutes on foot with a fresh products and other necessary goods,the old town in 5 minutes by car (we rent a car). The duplex has its own small garden. It was a gift for us. Our child spent most of the time there. Ran,jumped,played a ball etc. There are a barbeque, furniture, table tennis. We loved to have a breakfast and dinner in the garden, especially in the evening during sunset you could smell the pine trees growing around. Anne, her daughter and neighbors were very hospitable and always ready to help.

The facilities are exactly as described. The owner very generous and welcoming. The location is superb with easy access to Intra Muros, Dinard, Dinan with the beautiful coast only metres from the house.

Everything was just perfect! The property has great facilities, perfect for a family with children. The owner gave us all needed info about Saint Malo and its surroundings, places to visit, to eat, things to do...I highly recommend this place!
