This updated home is spacious with separate living spaces. The main house is 2br / 2 bath and has an attached 1br apartment with its own living room, full bath, and kitchenette. Perfect for families who want extra space for in laws or teenagers to spread out! This home is in a great location, 3 blocks from the beach and only a half a mile from Harris Teeter, butcher shop, seafood market, and local restaurants. The IOP recreation center is a 10 minute walk with playground, tennis courts, andsoccer/baseball fields. Sullivan's island is a 10 minute drive, and downtown Charleston is about 25 minutes away. You will have a hard time choosing what to do if you don't want to sit at the beach all day !

The separate living spaces are great for families traveling together or for those bringing grandparents or older kids to the beach who would like extra space to spread out. The main kitchen is well equipped and stocked with nice cookware and amenities, and the apartment kitchen also has it's own full sized fridge, microwave, coffee pot, and toaster oven. The back yard is private with outdoor dining table and bbq grill. There are several beach chairs and a rolling cooler in the carport you are welcome to use. Please bring your own beach towels.

The master bedroom has a king bed and a daybed (sleeps 3). The second bedroom has a bunk bed and twin bed with trundle (sleeps 4). The apartment bedroom has a queen sized bed (sleeps 2). There is also a pull out couch and 2 Pack n' Play cribs.

This home has full time residents living nearby. It is expected that our guests treat our house and neighbors with respect. You can have a great time and enjoy the house and beach while being respectful of our island residents. This is a smoke free house, including vaporizers, cigars, pipes, etc. All bath towels and clean linens are provided, please bring your own beach towels for use at the beach. Thank you!

    The property was great especially if you want a quiet separate area to divide up friends or family. The apartment was larger than expected and there was plenty of space for everyone to sleep, eat, and relax. The fire pit and outdoor seating was also great. The walk to the beach was not far and all of our family had no problem making the trek.

    We had a wonderful stay at Meg’s place. The house was spotless, comfortable and convenient to everything. Meg was very responsive and a great host. I can’t wait to go back!

    Really enjoyed our stay - highly recommend! Host responds quickly and is very helpful! There were six of us and the three bathrooms made it very easy during showers and getting ready to go out.

    We had a great week. The house is in the perfect location. Easy to the beach and in a quiet laid back neighborhood. We loved walking through the quaint streets and only a few blocks from a nice park as well. Only several minutes via car to the IOP's main hub. House had all we needed and we enjoyed the back yard as well. Meg was a great host. We would definitely recommend and go back!

    We had a fantastic stay Meg was a fantastic host and her property is just as described . We rented two golf carts and beach was 3 blocks away with a great access and parking for them also beach ave was a short golf cart away or drive to. Food was fantastic all 4 restaurants ,we visited grocery store 4 blocks away . Will definitely spread the word and visit again

    This house was a perfect spot for our beach vacation. Location is quiet but very close to beach access and IOP connector! Grilled out a few times in the backyard and host was super easy to communicate with and very accommodating.
