What's great about this house is its proximity to the beach and town, fully fenced front yard, privacy on the dead end street, hot tub, and covered porch. I'm constantly trying to improve the experience for my guests and adding and remodeling. Romantic Beach Cabin at the end of a quiet street with forest on two sides. Cabin has been torn down to the studs and rebuilt with top of the line materials. It's not The Four Seasons though, its a quirky beach house with a ton of amenities. Hot tub with Privacy If the hot tub water is dirty,I'll drain it so there is a chance it might not be piping hot the second you get there although it is wired tom 220 volts to heat up quickly), 50 inch Smart TV with Cable, surround sound, Apple TV, and 400mb highest speed internet available. DVD, Stereo with IPOD Hookup, Cork floors, Granite Countertops and snack bar, Under mount Sink, Dishwasher, Microwave, High efficiency front load stackable washer and dryer, Well stocked Kitchen. fire pit, full disclosure that the ceilings in the bedroom are lower and might be a problem for those 61” and taller. The main areas are vaulted. Nice clean bathroom with one inch glass tiles from floor to ceiling, shower, tub. It is Jack and Jill style so you have to pass through the bathroom to get to each of the bedrooms, Queen size bed in master. Really small second room with private entrance to the outside and bunk beds and a second TV. These are best for kids although I sleep in there sometimes. The front deck is bounded by 12 foot tall Rhododendrons. You get the morning sun on the front deck. There is a barbecue and a side yard which you share with the deer.. The cabin is at the end of a dead end street and is very private yet it is only two blocks to the beach and the center of Rockaway. Coffee is provided. I supply some coffee and the house has a flat bottom drip coffee maker. Bring briquettes for the Weber BBQ. walk to get espresso, dinner, and sightsee. Excellent for those with kids and pets. Great swimming, fishing, and boating in Lake Lytle which is 2 blocks away. Garibaldi is about 4 miles away with Ocean Fishing access. Manzanita is about 12 miles away. City park two blocks away. Mountain Biking 1/2 mile away. 3 day minimum over holidays.:

There is an additional Tiny House behind this one that is not attached, completely gated, and screened for privacy from the main house. It' for my personal use and is not rented although Im there occasionally. You'll have to leave the side driveway clear so I can drive in and shut the gate behind them. Don’t park at the pizza place. 3 day minimum on Federal Holidays next to a weekend.

If you’re a nervous traveler, have health concerns, don’t like driving in the wind, rain, or snow, are concerned with your health please purchase trip insurance. I can’t afford to provide that service myself for last minute cancellations when it is readily available. It's difficult for me to rebook at the last second.

The space was small but the convenience to beach was a short walk across the 101.

This is such a perfectly positioned property. We walked everywhere we wanted to go with young kids, and the quiet neighbor was awesome. Such a cute little place!!!

The place was in a great location, quiet and private and exactly what was advertised. We arrived 7 minutes early and the cleaning person was there so we waited and came in at 4pm to a wet floor. He told us there were still towels in the dryer. Do not look under the couches. The hot tub was the highlight - make sure you give it plenty of time to warm up. We did have deer right outside for a treat. Loved the complimentary wine!!

There were some pros and cons with this place. Pros: close to the beach, nice value, has everything you need. Cons: Just be aware that this place often hosts dogs. We should have understood that more fully. There is a pervasive wet-dog smell and lots of dog hair in the home. The bunkbed also doesn't have railings and felt very sketchy for young kids. Our 5-year-old actually fell off in the middle of the night.

Spent 5 days at this wonderful property! Everything was great, close beach access, and the hot tub was nice after spending chilly days exploring the beaches near by.

This little house is tucked away at the end of a cul-de-sac and is so private. The jacuzzi is wonderful (clean, full, and working perfectly, plus you have total privacy while in there). Stocked coffee and easy to use coffee pot, fridge, microwave, stove, oven and fully stocked kitchen. The bed in the master bedroom was so comfortable, and the TV in both the master bedroom and living room are huge! Very warm since the heat works like a charm. Everything was clean, and there were lots of extra sheets, blankets, shampoo, conditioner and towels too. The glass fronted shower was also a bonus. One block to the beach (you can hear the ocean from the porch!) Cute little shops and restaurants within walking distance. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay of five nights and would most definitely return in the future.

The house was cozy, and the hot tub was warmed up and ready for us at arrival. The pups enjoyed the space. We had a question for the host and they replied very quickly. Overall very good.

We arrived in the evening and really enjoyed the quiet comfortable, clean vacation home. It is a small place and perfect to a couple with one or two children or two sisters and 1 dog.. Having a fenced area for my dog to get some fresh air was very important. The location in Rockaway is perfect. Crabbing in Garibladi , shopping in Tillamook and of course a trip to the Tillamook Cheese Factory.Very short drive to Cannon Beach. After exploring all day , it was so nice to come to a very comfy retreat., and soak in a hot tub.

It was a very nice stay. I will say the house is best for a couple, yes there are bunk beds for kids, but the room is small and the bathroom is the travel path to both bedrooms. If you are over 6' tall some things will be too low for you, but that was all in the listing. Rockaway beach is a nice if touristy place, the beach is close enough, and everything is well within walking distance. We had plenty of room to park our motorcycles and felt safe enough leaving them while we walked around town. Plenty of things in the house had labels and instructions right on them. The hot tub was clean and functioned fine. The bed was nice and comfortable. The living room was the largest room in the house and had the kitchen and a TV, we didn't use the TV or the kitchen but everything else worked fine so I would assume they did too. The floors have many steps and trip hazards another reason maybe not having kids here would be best. Overall we would stay here again, perfect for couples.

We really enjoyed the hot tub, outdoor space and the guitar / record player. We would totally stay here again! Thanks to our host.

You won't be disappointed if you choose to stay here. It is great for a couple or a small family with smaller children. As the description states if you are over 6' 2 tall. You will be trying to avoid hitting your head, in the bedrooms and especially in the shower. Bed is comfy. Plenty of extra blankets, towels, and sheets. In the kitchen we had everything we needed to cook meals. Would recommend a knife sharpener. Living area included a larger TV, with Roku, Xbox 360 with a few games. Board games, puzzles, and a few different card games. DVD player and a few movies, books, and a record player with a few records. Covered patio was nice, we didn't use the hot tub, but looked well maintained. Might consider some sort of awning for the hot tub, so it can be used on those rainy, misty days. I was a little hesitant about renting when I read the owner had a space behind the house for their own personal use. I am happy we took the chance. If the owner ever used it we didn't see them. Don't miss out on this gem of house. Felt like we were not in town, since the house is at the end of of a dead end street. We saw 3 deer almost every morning in the yard. Will definitely stay again when we stay in Rockaway.
