Stayed Jul 15, 2018Great location as we were touring UVA. Quick access to I64 & into Cville. Lovely modern house, clean, lots of amenities, lots of windows, storage & space! Please check this place out! Super nice alternative if you want a change of pace from a hotel.

Stayed Aug 21, 2025What a pleasure to stay at the Honey House (so named I presume because the owners are beekeepers who have an aviary a safe distance nearby.) Everything was extremely well organized inside and neat as a pin. An open floor. plan that feels very open and roomy as well as bright and cheery. Quiet and comfortable, and all in a location very convenient to Monticello, downtown and UVa.

Stayed May 29, 2024The house was nicely laid out and had decks on the front and back. There were many trees on the property so there was lots of privacy. The furniture and bed were comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom well stocked. The house was conveniently located near Charlottesville and the wineries. We had a very pleasant stay there.

Stayed May 17, 2024We stayed three nights in Honey House while in town celebrating our oldest son's college graduation. Location was perfect - very close to UVA and also quiet and peaceful, situated within a beautiful garden area. The studio is beautiful, very clean and thoughtfully appointed. Hosts are kind and accessible while also respectful of privacy. Already thinking about when we can come back.

Stayed May 22, 2024Our daughter was getting married in Charlottesville and she lives in OH and we were arriving from NC. The rest of the family and guests were all traveling so Honey House was our perfect retreat to plan, stage wedding items and share a meal with our new family members. Honey House is located about 10 minutes from great restaurants and stores. The house itself lives very comfortably and we rested very well and prepared meals in the well equipped kitchen. The front and rear porches are a wonderful place to sit back and relax while enjoying the beautiful location and wildlife. Super place if you’re a couple visiting Charlottesville!
