Nice and spacious home to spend a family holidays

Maria has welcomed us with a smile. She even drove us to the supermarkt and waited till we finished the Shopping. She is a heart warmed soul with a beautiful House right at the Beach. Maybe the Beach is 20m away and you can watch the sunrise everyday from the Terrace. We will come Back! Thank you Maria!

Beautiful property in a beautiful neighborhood. It was very clean. Our host bought us snacks and left water in the fridge. They also arranged our airport transportation from the airport and gave us all the information we needed for everything while we were there. The gift shop located beneath the unit was fabulous. I recommend everybody go check it out if you’re there. Lots of restaurants close by.. the city tour bus stopped right outside the door very convenient.

The house was very nice for a family holiday. There are many beaches in walking distance. So if you just want to do some kind of beach holiday it‘s not even necessary to rent a car. A taxi from the airport takes about 20 minutes. But it’s also a good base to explore the island by car. The house is very save for young kids ( all terraces with railings, big entrance gate). Aside from that the owner Maria Rosa was very nice and kind. We will be coming back.

We (4 adults, 3 kids) spent two weeks at Maria's in August. At this time of year, the nearby beach is pretty busy. But that does not matter really, because after a dip in the ocean you just have to pop back to the villa, which waits for you with a shady place at all times of the day. We traveled without a rental car, and thanks to Maria's arrangements, this was not a problem at all. Maria has got a bike and a little trolley which allows you to do the grocery shopping conveniently in the nearby supermarket. Not only that, you do not need to bring any toys for the kids or other beach gear, let alone buy it at overpriced rates, because it's all there. And if you have problems working out the bus system, Maria will assist you with everything - she even drove our friends back to the airport! The house has everything you'd need, the fig tree and the air con in three rooms was our favourite. It is a bit on the pricey side admittedly, but we'd do it again! Mille Gracie!

What can I say - this is absolutely the best vacation we´ve ever had. The owner is a wonderful host: kind and serviceminded, doing everything to make our stay perfect in every way. The house has big rooms and a high ceiling. Comfortable furnitures that really makes it feel like a proper home. Air conditioning in 3 of 4 bedrooms as well as in the living room. Beds are comfortable. Kitchen has everything you could possibly wish for. The big terrass under roof is wonderful and offers shade during the day and is the perfect place to have dinner in the evenings. The house does a good job keeping the heat out, partly because of the surrounding trees and bushes in the garden. The location is great: a calm area with only a 20 seconds walk to the lovely beach with crystal clear water and a small bar where you can get something to eat and drink. The next beach (4 min walk) has both restaurants and bars. Here you can rent paddling boats. There is a supermarket and several restaurants/pizzerias within walking distance (5-10 minutes). The location of the house is amazing! It's under 60m from the front gate to actually stepping onto the beach - a 45 second walk. As it was really busy time of the year when we stayed and the beach was quite crowded, we would pop to the beach every hour or so to go in the sea and then come back to the house to relax on the terrace's or in the garden. There were loungers and parasols at the property for our use. The house was very homely with many of the owners personal items left for our use and as decor. Very well equipped kitchen (albeit with a very small oven) - as we cooked on the BBQ most days it was not an issue for us. The main terrace looks out over the sea (exactly as in the pictures) and many hours were whiled away just sitting and gazing out to sea!

We loved our stay in Maria Rosa´s house. If we are able, we´d love return sometime. The house and some furniture is decorated by paintings made by the owner. Most of furniture and decorations reflect the artistic character of the house owner. There are two spacious bedrooms and one smaller bedroom + a large living room with two sofas and one dining table. The kitchen and basically the whole house was equipped with everything we needed. There was a bin full of toys, which was a delight for our two baby boys. The house has a large paved area all around it, which could be used for many activities, including BBQ, which is also in the house´s equipment. Plus there many trees and a Mediterranean garden with many trees, providing shade outside the house. During our stay, wonderful and tasty apricots were ripening, we enjoyed them a lot. There is also a large fig tree, some lemon and olive trees and other trees and plants of the local flora. The house location by the sea allowed almost constant wind breeze and thus we did not need to turn on the A/C for most of our stay, even during hot days. Anyway, most of all we loved staying in the spacious terrace, where we enjoyed breakfasts, lunches and dinners, afternoon naps or late night conversations, always with the beautiful view on the sea. We stayed 13 days in this house and we had hard time saying goodbye to it.

The house is very beautiful, well equipped, with big rooms, a nice terrace with a large patio. The place is acutally nicer than the pictures show! The beach is only a few meters away and there is a grocery store and several restaurants in a walking distance. The host, Maria Rosa, was very helpful and acommodating to our needs. We really can recommend this place :-)
