Walking barefoot on the warm sand, swimming, cycling or just relaxing, here you can enjoy wonderful days on the beach or visit the wonderful mountains of the nearby Apuan Alps

The island of Elba (about 1 hour by ferry from Piombino) with its island charm is worth a day trip. Also visit the unique white marble quarries of Carrara (35 km)
