The home sits on the Hiwassee River with a screened in back porch, two decks and a small dock. The lower deck and dock were just rebuilt. The University of Tennessee Tree Farm is on the other side of the River so you are looking at green trees and foliage. There are beautiful views from both bedrooms, dining room and kitchen of the river. Decks and the dock also have a beautiful view of the mountains upstream. The home is located just off of HWY 411 1/2 mile downstream from the 411 bridge.

Stayed Apr 25, 2025This river retreat house is perfect for a couple or small family. The location was ideal for my husband's gravel bike event in the area. We appreciated the spacious main area, screened in porch (perfect for reading and listening to the river), and overall cleanliness/tidiness of the house. Very gracious hosts with clear communication. We would love to stay here again when we're back in the area!
