Spotless. Professional. Small, older house but had absolutely everything our family of four needed. Some higher end upgrades had been added since the listing pictures, which were appreciated. We were able to access two trails on foot. Would definitely stay again, great value!

We enjoyed our 4 night stay in this historic home, situated on the lower part of Lookout Mountain. The home was clean and would have slept four adults comfortably. The bunk beds are fulls, and fine for one adult each. The location was excellent - five minutes or so drive to continue up Lookout Mountain to places like Ruby Falls or Rock City (which were both fun if touristy), a one minute walk to the trailhead that goes right to Ruby Falls, and a 12-15 minute drive to downtown by the river. The only reason that I give the property a 4 rather than a 5 was the kitchen - it needs some attention. Knobs on the cabinets would have been easier to clean and more sanitary. Some of the pots and pans are worn beyond their useful life and the kitchen was missing some items that would have been helpful (like a large pot for noodles). We were able to make due with what was there, but we only had three people. The front porch is a lovely place for a cup of tea. We appreciated that this property included some of the little extras that are so helpful - salt and pepper, coffee, and some spices. Be careful when you back out of the driveway - it's quite a drop on the other side of the road!

We had a wonderful stay at this cute property. It is conveniently located a short drive from St. Elmo. My brother worked at the house during the day and he said it was a comfortable place to work.  The house was very clean. I didn’t cook much, but the kitchen is well stocked for anyone who plans to cook.  The owner communicated details about the property clearly.

We very much enjoyed our stay here! The house was adorable and the location was amazing! We comfortably fit a family of four. The house had all the amenities we needed, including some games and puzzles we did as a family at night after very full days around town. It was so easy to get downtown or to the mountain. There is even a hiking/ biking trail right across the street that we took advantage of. We had an amazing time! Definitely worth a stay here in St Elmo!

Great home close to a trailhead, downtown St. Elmo and Lookout Mountain. The home was comfortable and extremely clean. All essentials and a few extras were provided. All items were neatly organized and displayed and made us feel well cared for. We enjoyed walking a few feet to the Guild Trail trailhead, hiking to/under one of The Incline trestles (cool photo opp), and on to Ruby Falls. Downtown St. Elmo has nice restaurants and Lookout Mountain was fun to explore. The owner was quick to answer a question that we had. I highly recommend this property.

This is probably the cleanest place we have ever stayed. The location is great, just a short drive to everything Chattanooga has to offer. There is a Food City right down the road along with some restaurants, ice cream and the Incline Railway. We would absolutely stay here again!

Great location for us, clean and accommodating. There wasn’t an additional couch as pictured in the photos which would have been nice with our family of 6. It was a tight fit but served our purpose and budget. The door was a bit tricky at time to get in but we were informed by the host that it was. Overall, we would return and had a great trip visiting Chattanooga.

The location is on a quiet street just a few minutes from Rock City and down the road from the cute St. Elmo restaurants, shops, and Lookout Mountain Incline. Would highly recommend!

Nice, but small. the parking is awful not made for bigger vehicles. There is a slop to get into the house with lots of stairs. Part of the sidewalk is over growing making it hard to walk. Inside is nice, only one TV in the front from and its very small. Bathrooms are small as well. Over all it's a nice place clean and quite.

This house is very cute and charming. The property is beautiful and you are in walking distance to Guild trail-an easy path for any age. The home was comfy and cozy. The one thing I would say is it needed more seating in the family room. The pic shows 2 couches and a chair. There was only one small couch which left our family of 5 without a comfy seat when we settled in. I would definitely recommend this house to stay in for anyone coming to visit Chattanooga!

Impressed with how clean the house was. Stocked on many things you may need. I had to contact host with a few questions and he always responded quickly. Quiet and safe neighborhood. Just FYI, there is no closet outside of the bedrooms, nowhere to hang coats. Some people may want to bring night lights. Renter before us must have broken one side of the recliner couch, host did not know. Only concern of mine was the weak wifi security. Shower is great for tall people. Would definitely stay with this host again.

House was very cute and suited our needs for 2 nights. We just needed a place to sleep and shower. We didn’t get to or need to utilize anything in the house since we were doing all the touristy things with my cousin that lives in Chatt during the one full day we were there. Beds were very comfortable, it was close to everything, and had all the essentials. I would recommend a picture and better description of the area in which you park. It’s an unpaved, open grassy, uneven sloped hill at the bottom of the property. You can squeeze two cars in it, but you do need to hike your luggage up some big concrete stairs to the house. Luckily my husband was there to haul the luggage because I have a shoulder injury and wouldn’t have been able to get our big luggage up there. Anyone with mobility issues wouldN’t fare so well. Also, there is a very large deposit they charge $1,500 up front and you don’t get it back for 2 weeks after you check out. I’ve stayed in multimillion dollar homes in many states and other countries and it seemed a little much for a small home, but that’s the owners call, so just keep that in mind. The kids loved the bunk beds. They are full size mattresses not twins, which is a bonus since our girls fight over who gets the top one. This way they both could sleep on the top bunk. The front porch is nice with tons of green lush landscape. We’d definitely stay here again.
