Stayed Jul 23, 2025If you want an idyllic stay in the Spanish countryside, this is your place. We were a family of 17 and fit perfectly. The caretakers, Carmen and Jose were so kind and helpful in every way. Carmen prepared fabulous meals for us our entire stay. The location is great for visiting Seville and cordoba. The road to the villa isn’t paved, but it’s a smooth ride. We would definitely return if in the area again. I can’t say enough good things about Carmen, and the solitude of this historic house set among pistachio trees.

Stayed Jun 22, 2025The reviews and pictures do not do this villa justice, we stayed for 3 nights as a group of 11 and it was incredible. The place is huge it’s practically palatial with a great swimming pool, amazing views, so many well equipped bedrooms and living spaces and beautifully decorated. The outside seating area is gorgeous and the crockery is in abundance we could cook for all of us every night. The villa is really cool and well air conditioned and so many bathrooms for maximum comfort. There are two super friendly and sweet dogs that made our stay even better and Jose and his family were super helpful and on hand. Communication was great throughout. There is a long dirt road down to the property but nothing a car can’t handle and we even managed to get Ubers to pick us up and drop us off to the airport and into seville which was great. I cannot recommend this villa enough!!

Stayed Jun 14, 2025We were in Andalucia for a wedding. Our requirements were nine bedrooms as many bathrooms as possible, and a little bit of space. This is more than filled out expectations. Our hosts were very attentive and very helpful. The location is somewhat removed from both Carmona and Sevilla, but not to remote. We would definitely recommend for large groups and families who need a break from the bustle of the city.

Stayed Oct 26, 2024The gate to the property is hidden from the main road. It's opposite an industrial park. The private drive to the property is a dirt track and will take 10 minutes. It is only suitable for 4 x 4 cars and confident drivers. However, you can see plenty of rabbits and the odd owl along the way. The villa is looked after by a lovely couple, with a son who can talk a bit of English. They don't. They are on site and will help you navigate the use of the villa. They also tend their vegetable garden with love and care. There are chickens (who are quiet) and two friendly dogs who live outside. The swimming pool was freezing and green but it was November and it rained for nearly five solid days. The accommodation is good, linen and towels are clean. We loved the very quirky touches but it won't be to everyone's taste. This house is loved by the family that own it including peeling paint, cobwebs and the odd friendly mouse. We absolutely loved this house and it worked for our collective family of grandparents, grandchildren and sisters. Outside there is a badminton net and table tennis table (although bring your own balls). The trees have lemons, pomegranates and pistachios. The views of vineyards and further fruit trees are uninterrupted and its stunning. We went to Carmona - not alot to it, Cordoba was stunning and the jewel was Seville. What a beautiful city. The metro was really easy to use and very close to the public car park. Thank you for lending us your home.

Stayed Oct 21, 2024Our travel group of women stayed at the Lovely El Tigero, the accommodations were just as advertised and the quaintness of this older country house was unique and beautiful. We cooked and ate outside al fresco. We enjoyed visiting both Seville and Carmona. The housekeepers were gracious and very helpful. Supplies can be purchased just 10 minutes up the road at a very nice Lidl, and also a nearby Aldi. The owner was good at corresponding with me and keeping me updated. We LOVED staying here and highly recommend booking this property for a great ( non-hotel) experience. You will need a car rental to get around.

Stayed Oct 17, 2024This place is huge. You’ll get lost! We had 8 people and I couldn’t tell you where half of them slept. We did our best to gather in every part of the house and property and still missed some areas. Pros: HUGE, beautiful property, Carmen and Jose, scenery, amenities, and wanting for nothing. Cons (more like quirks): understanding the heat (I believe the units are controlled by light switches, but never confirmed with C & J), hot water (some bathrooms have a separate control and others just take time to warm up), the dirt road in is bumpy, long and your GPS will tell you to pass the entrance and go through other properties to get there…read the host’s directions-don’t rely on Google or Apple Maps). The rooms were plenty big, each person or couple having their own bathroom was wonderful, and seeing all the lemon, pomegranate, orange and olive trees were magical. We may have enjoyed a lemon or two. ;) Carmen gave us a tour and carried our bags for us (!!). We were able to do our laundry while playing ping pong. Our group was in Spain for a wedding and we were able to iron our fancy clothes before heading out. It’s the perfect accommodation for large groups and the price can’t be beat!

Stayed Aug 25, 2024We recently returned from 10 days at El Triguero. The photos do not do this property justice. It is beautiful and secluded and the perfect place for extended families to relax. Jose and Carmen were so helpful and always on site if needed (supported with English translation by their lovely son) driveway to property is fairly long and bumpy (approx 8 minutes from coded gate to property. My advice is to get a substantial car hire. We had a mini bus and it dealt with ease.i have never felt compelled to leave a review before but cannot express how amazing this place is. Thank you for the best 10 days! the two dogs that live on the land are an added bonus, super friendly and do well behaved. Like home from home!

Stayed Aug 10, 2024what a great villa. the sheer size of the villa is not captured in the pictures and description. there is so much character in the villa, all the rooms work really well with every room haveing an en suite and air con, it was very hot so needed, the outside space was beautiful really well looked after. the onsite team were brilliant always on hand to fix any problems that arose. the only down side was the 1.4km dirt track that is a little bumpy. could do with a little work, its a good distance from seville and recommended a few visits, overall a brilliant villa and great value visits, visits brilliant value for money

Stayed Jul 28, 2024We have loved our stay in this beautiful place. So comfortable with everything you need for the perfect holiday. Our family appreciated the air con (very hot ) and swimming pool. Carmona was fascinating and such an interesting place to visit. Would have been good to know a bit more about the history of the house. Communication with Jose and carmen was a challenge but they were lovely and so kind. Would love to return one day. Maybe a visitors book with recommendations would be good too.
