Historic Gem - Walk to Forsyth Park & Downtown!

If you’re into dingy stained towels, hair in the bed when you climb into it that’s not yours, a dirty shower curtain liner that looks like it hasn’t been changed in an extremely long time, a blanket made up on your bed that wreaks of urine, but is supposed to be freshly washed after the last guest(s) leave, along with a stench throughout the house of pet urine, particularly in the dining room where you’re supposed to eat…then THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU!!! All I can say for the people who left 10/10 reviews or anything more than a 3/10, is that I can only imagine the conditions they live in because in my opinion, truly clean & classy people would NOT be ok staying here. This place needs a true deep cleansing from top to bottom! My family and I always leave exactly at, or a few minutes before check-out but was so over it we left a few hours before. NEVER AGAIN will I waste money here and I will not be recommending this place to anyone! Believe it or not, there’s even more to share but I rather put this place behind me instead. I should have taken heed to that 2/10 rating review cause they were spot on!

Very cute apartment!

My husband and I enjoyed our trip to Savannah very much. We enjoyed walking from the house to River Street. There are lots of great restaurants in Savannah. Forsyth Park is beautiful! We were on the 2nd floor of the house. We loved the house. At night the location is a bit intimidating but no one bothered us at all. We were glad we had access to the courtyard to take our dogs out at night.

The decor inside was so nice! Made for several nice backgrounds for pictures we were taking (in case the wind outside didn’t cooperate.) Great location for wanting to be that close to Forsyth park. Very comfortable beds.

Super cute, pet friendly, upstairs home. The husband and I were very pleased to find this last minute place to break up our drive home on a holiday weekend. Loved the decor! Very convenient walk to Forsyth Park. Like other reviewers we found the initial impression of the neighborhood to be sketchy but we did not need to be concerned in the least. A number of properties have obviously been updated while many other homes and businesses could still use some work. Considering the historic nature of the area and recent hurricane damage, I was surprised there were not more places in disrepair. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Savannah!

Great place! The interior is spacious and well appointed. The beds are comfortable. The balcony is a nice bonus and the weather was great during our stay. The location is walking distance to Forsyth Park but the neighborhood was a little run down. We always felt safe so no real issue for us.

The house was inviting. Like some other reviews, the location seemed a little uninviting as we pulled up, but we were ended up being very happy with the area, and proximity to the park and things we were interested in.

Comfortable and eclectic

SV seems to be undergoing some significant gentrification like many growing economic thruways, this property was on the line. Didn’t feel unsafe at all just normal city “guardness”, been to SV many times over many years. Overall comfortable space.

A short walk to the park, great cafes and the coolest peeps in Savannah

This is an adorable property with lots of personality. The street it’s on looks a little sketchy but it’s actually pretty sleepy and typical for the historic district. Communication was great. Bed was comfy. Zero complaints.

Place was older but updated cute, clean, and spacious. However the location was not the nicest. If it was a girls trip I’d be concerned staying at this location, but with my boyfriend it was fine. Quick drive or uber to downtown Savannah. Overall would definitely recommend!

Loved the master bedroom decor! Thankful for the fans. Loved the upstairs balcony and swing. And loved that you are dog friendly. Easy check in and check out. We walked to the park which was beautiful.

Attentive host with quick response time. Clean house with a groovy look and comfy feel. Could use some fine touches on things such as doors, and blinds. Would also benefit from some dusting. Modern appliances, and is equipped with everything you need to stay. Outside looks sketchy, however everyone in the neighborhood kept to themselves. The balcony off the main room is charming.
