Stayed Oct 27, 2025Although we did use the kitchen other than for morning coffee and tea, the house was clean, comfortable and the proximity to downtown McMinnville was a bonus.

Stayed Oct 23, 2025Location was amazing. Close to everything downtown. House was well kept and very quiet. Nice that toiletries were available. Free grown coffee was an extra touch. Will look for availability at this location the next time we come to town.

Stayed Aug 13, 2025Adorable restored historic house right in downtown, so easy to walk everywhere: farmer's market, coffee, wine tasting, shopping and more! The neighborhood is also filled with lots of historic homes, really charming. The converted garage was really cute and a nice place to sit while having dinner, our dog loved the fenced in yard too.

Stayed Aug 9, 2025This was our 2nd time staying at Cowl's Bungalow. My husband and I traveled with my Dad this time. We love the large covered porch and that we can easily walk 2 blocks to the main street with shops, grocery and restaurants. The kitchen is well stocked with nice quality pans and fresh olive oil. Coffee beans/grinder are provided. We especially appreciated the AC given we were there on a 100 degree weekend. Would return again!

Stayed Feb 26, 2025The location was just perfect for walking to restaurants and shops in downtown McMinnville. Yet quiet even sitting on the front porch. It was clean, comfortable and well appointed. Would highly recommend staying here during a visit to the Evergreen Museum and wineries.

Stayed Nov 23, 2024The house was terrific, spotlessly clean, comfortable and just a few blocks from great restaurants, wine cellars and stores in downtown McMinnville. The kitchen appeared to be well supplied although we didn't use it because of all the fabulous restaurants close by.

Stayed Oct 25, 2024Great place to stay close to 3rd St in McMinnville. After a day of wine tasting we loved being able to walk to dinner and more tasting rooms. Unfortunately, the weather kept us from enjoying the outdoor space so we’ll have to come back and hope the weather cooperates. One thing to note is the very tiny and not so private bathroom in the primary bedroom, which I didn’t realize but wouldn’t keep us from returning. Also, only Folgers was provided for the coffee maker so you may want to bring your own. I do highly recommend staying here.

Stayed Oct 23, 2024What a great home! We loved the layout, the decor, convenience to everything, and it was spotless! The home was walking distance to shops, restaurants and wine tastings. Communication with Anita was excellent and everything went so smoothly. This was an annual girls trip with my friend from Portland. We would go back in a heart beat.

Stayed Jul 11, 2024This house was the absolute perfect home base for our visit to Oregon wine country. The house itself is beautifully appointed. Very comfortable, all the ammenities you could need, and well decorated. The bedrooms, living spaces, and outdoor spaces were all well-proportined and gave us ample room to strech out and enjoy our stay. The location was also terrific. Two short blocks from the main street in town that is lined with shops and restaurants. And only 15-20 minute drive to prime winery areas. We would enjoy our coffee and breakfast in the morning, walk our dog around the charming neighbourhood and then walk to a local place for a light lunch before heading out to the wineries. We would visit 2 or 3 and be home in time for a nap before dinner which again, we could walk to easily. A perfect getaway. Many thanks to our attentive and professional host. She could give a master course in designing, equipping and managing home rentals!

Stayed Jul 2, 2024This spot is great if you want an easy walk into town--literally a two minute walk to Third street. Our favorite spots were Harvest Fresh Grocery (great for food and wine selections, as well as premade meals), La Rambla, and the Cellar at Okta. It's a dog friendly house, which was perfect for us. Out pups were very happy to hang out in the fenced backyard, taking advantage of the cool floors in the carriage house. Super comfy beds, well-equipped kitchen, AC, and all the amenities you'd expect. Would definitely stay here again!
