Stayed Jun 30, 2023The house is close to perfect in size, accommodations, location, and cleanliness. It has all the comforts of home without any frills. We could even view the July 4th fireworks from the front yard! Will likely rent this home again in the future.

Stayed Oct 15, 2020We greatly enjoyed our stay at Hilltop Haven. The property was recently renovated and perfect for a stay with young kids. Location is very convenient to downtown Highlands.

Stayed Aug 16, 2020The house was very clean, comfortable and conveniently located. Due to Covid, we had planned to cook most of the week. The kitchen was not very well equipped for cooking, but fortunately our other group had a great kitchen and we cooked there every night. Next time I would also look for something with a patio or porch, as our main goal for visiting was to get out of the heat and enjoy outside. I did see previous reviews that mentioned a lack of furniture and TVs, but that had obviously been rectified as there were plenty of both for our stay. It was also super nice for multiple couples as there are three king beds and three baths upstairs.

Stayed Dec 26, 2019Great house layout but complaints would be that the home is sparsely furnished with a lot of wasted space and not enough seating for a house that is advertised as sleeping 8. No televisions or dressers in bedrooms. Cannot use living room fireplace and tv at same time. Fireplace makes mantle hot and causes television to turn off so you can’t enjoy both at the same time. Also, could really use a tankless hot water heater. Again, for a house advertised as sleeping 8, the hot water heater runs out of hot water after a couple of showers and makes it frustrating for people to take multiple showers in succession due to lack of hot water. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay as the home is clean, large, and close to town and hiking. We would stay again if some of the issues referenced were addressed.
