The cabin was perfect. Well equipped kitchen and a cozy warm living room. Loved the fire place. So happy our chocolate lab could join us.

Great rental!

The property was warm and cost. We spent most nights sitting by the fire watching tv. Something we can't do at home. Close to many activities.

This was a nice clean cabin. The neighbor was quiet.

This is the second time we stayed on this road but the first time at this particular home. It was fantastic and we really enjoyed our stay. Very conveniently located between Cashiers and Highlands so you can easily get back and forth to both.

We had a peaceful 3 day weekend. It wasn’t cool enough for a fire, but it was still cozy. The house had all the supplies we needed, including coffee filters and a choice of 2 coffeemakers - Drip and Keurig with disposable filter, too! Nice location, close to both downtown Highlands and Cashiers. We did lots of hiking, ate great food and slept well! It was just what we needed.

Such a beautiful area for a peaceful getaway. The cabin was clean and well equipped. The thick, lush mountain laurels gave so much privacy felt like we were the only people around. Would definitely recommend! Thank you for sharing your sweet little piece of tranquility!

It was quiet, peaceful, and a perfect location to be near excellent humming spots and amazing food!

Nice quiet street, adequate space, decent accommodations. Not thrilled with the bedding and uncomfortable furniture. Wish there was an easier solution for trash disposal.

We love Highlands, North Carolina. The cabin was as listed and convenient to Highlands, Cashiers, and many other spots in the area. The drive to the cabin felt like you were in a rainforest.

Very convenient and close to everything.

This property was advertised properly & offered a warm cabin atmosphere. Well stocked (except the upstairs bath wall shampoo/condition was empty.) Fortunately, the Dollar Store is 3 minutes away! Kit had every type of pot/pan/utensils for cooking(which was essential for our Thanksgiving week). Owners even offered us charcoal (not standard practice)although it was way too cold to grill & enjoy the outdoor seating. The fireplace was a huge winner & owners supplied all the logs(which is not always the case). The master BR is tiny(there is no chest for clothes), so we lived out of our suitcases on the floor. There is a large closet w/10-15 hangers). The Master BR bed was super comfy & there are loads of extra pillows (also usually NOT the case). My husband & I wanted to be able to walk to Main St, & chose this place due to affordability vs. walkability, & that ended up being a good decision for us, b/c Treehouse offered a lot of bang for the buck. We ended up loving that it was in between Highlands & Cashiers(a little closer to Highlands). Overall I think it's an excellent value & we would stay here again.

Wonderful house surrounded by beautiful trees. Location was quiet but easy drive to both Cashiers and the Highlands. Beautiful views. Loved the firepit and the fireplace. Cabin well equipped. Hope to visit again.

Great 1 bedroom/1 loft home. Fireplace and grill area was nice. I think this is my 4th stay at this property. Highly recommend for couples and families.

We have been staying at the treehouse for many years. Everything was perfect. We had a wonderful weekend making memories.

Was not able to get to the property due to Hurricane Helene but cannot thank the host enough for their constant communication and attentiveness. Thank you!

Good

We had a bit of a frustrating check in because the house wasn’t ready because of the previous renters. We tried to get in in time to watch the college football game and we could not get the cable to work. Plus, we had a really bad downpour in the mountains on the windy road leading to Highlands . but overall had a wonderful stay. The weather was fantastic.

Property was in a great location-weather couldn’t be better- great house

Although the property was pleasant we would not recommend it as Senior friendly. There were no grab bars in the shower. The back stairs were too steep to access the back yard. The view from the back porch was of the trees with no hint of a mountain view.
