High Point Retreat in the Heart of Mentone!

Great spot

The house is beautiful with lots of areas for sitting around together and talking. The kitchen is nice and reasonably equipped. Our group enjoyed the fire pit ( bring your own wood and marshmallows), the large table for playing games, and the mother-in-law suite for the baby a quiet place to nap away from the action.Kyra was excellent as manager- she responded quickly and had our needs met by the next morning.( We needed an extension cord for a cpap).There are 3 beds on the main floor- 2 kings with en suite bathroom and a queen with en suite. The queen room is not as nice as the other rooms,and the bed isn't very comfortable. Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms sharing 2 bathrooms. There is another set of stairs over the garage with a kind of bunk room with several beds, but the only bathroom is the half bath downstairs through the kitchen and living room. We didn’t use them- they would be very inconvenient.We all (family group of 14) agreed that we would enjoy staying here again.

Great place for a group trip. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out and not feel crowded.

Return clients. Fits our needs for many bedrooms/baths and large common areas and a good kitchen.

Great place for a large family. We were 15 in all and there was room to spare! Great communication with the owners and the location was perfect. Only a couple miles from Desoto Falls and downtown Mentone.

This home is fabulous! The location was good and it was convenient to wherever we wanted to go.It is the perfect getaway for a large family. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent again.

This is an amazing property will loads of space! The furnishings are so comfortable but have been well used. Could use a few updates. We would definitely stay again!

This was our second time staying here and will not be our last. It’s a special place to make memories. It’s a very relaxing home and we had everything we needed.

This home was a great option for us and our friends to enjoy a few days in Mentone. With so many options for bedrooms and separate common areas, each family group had places to gather and relax separately and as an entire group. We made good use of the fire pit, enjoyed our walk to Brow Park to soak in the views, and had a memorable and relaxing stay. There were a few maintenance issues that I will share directly with the host so that they can be aware and the issues can be addressed. Would return for another stay in the future.

My group of friends from college travel together twice a year. This was our first time to stay in Mentone. There were 11 of us this trip and this house was perfect. So nicely decorated. Two kitchens, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Two large porches and a wonderful fire pit! Our hostess was easy to access and quickly responded to our questions. I would highly recommend this house.

We’re a group of friends that get together twice a year and this was our Fall trip. The house has lots of space to spread out! Love the open floor plan with the living room and dining table and kitchen all one big room. The bedrooms are laid out so there’s privacy which is nice! Outdoor area is nice too!

What a beautiful, spacious property, and perfect to host our special needs moms and other adult female caregivers through our non-profit org at A Mother's Rest. Great location too!

The house is amazing! It was huge and accommodated our large group with even more extra space. We enjoyed makings mores in the HUGE fire pit and riding bikes around the property. We would love to go back to this property in the future!
