The entire house, patio and yard is yours to enjoy while you unwind and relax. The furnishings and decor are modern and comfortable making you feel right at home. There is plentyof parking with a driveway and free off-street parking.

The backyard boasts a number of fruit trees; apple and peach. There are blueberries, raspberries and blackberries available to pick if you time your stay just right. Enjoy the herb garden with oregano, thyme, rosemary, and garlic chives which can be added to a delicious home cooked meal.

Just off the dining room is a covered outdoor patio with a dining table and BBQ grill for your gourmet meal if you choose. Finish the evening under the stars with a fire and your newest favorite glass of wine.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
Enjoy your time in McMinnville and most importantly have fun!

OVERVIEW:
McMinnville's Third Street is home to a number of tasting rooms, coffee shops, and award-winning restaurants just a short walk from Hideaway House. The charm of the tree lined streets in downtown McMinnville is part small town, part wine lovers paradise.

There are over 220 wineries and vineyards in and around McMinnville. So start early, but take your time because there is a good chance you won't get to each one on this stay. Shoot for 3-4 wineries in a day but don't be disappointed when you only make it to two. This means that you're enjoying yourself.

GETTING AROUND:
Have your walking shoes ready because you can get to everything you need on foot from Hideaway House. That includes tasting rooms, breweries, restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques and a local grocery store.

If you feel like driving or hiring a car service, you're in luck. You'll need weeks if not months to tour the wineries and vineyards in the Willamette Valley. You are welcome back anytime!

If you would rather let someone else do the driving, Uber and Lyft can be used. Though they aren't as readily available as they would be in bigger cities, with a little patience you'll still be able to get around.

Casey was a great host and Hideaway House was the perfect place to stay for our wine tasting weekend. The house is walking distance to the downtown McMinnville area, with lots of shops and restaurants. The house was clean and provided all the amenities we needed. We checked out local restaurants for our meals, but the kitchen was well stocked and you could easily cook a meal there. I would definitely stay here again.

Upon arrival, the house was a wonderful surprise! It is clean, beautifully decorated and very welcoming. Great little touches throughout including a very comfortable mattress topper and great smelling hand soap at every sink. There was fresh coffee beans from the local coffee establishment, Flag and Wire. The kitchen had everything you could possibly think of. Even the cookware was new. The outdoor space was amazing. Unfortunately, it was a little chilly for us to use it. Plus, we definitely were not there long enough! Overall, the house is a hidden gem. The host was very responsive and very helpful. Can’t wait to go back.

The perfect location to stay in McMinnville. A lovely property with an amazing outdoor space that we could sit by the fire in the evenings. Casey was a fantastic host providing recommendations for local spots to visit. And he was always quick to respond. Would 100% stay here again if we make it back to the area! His recommendation for doing a wine tour with Niki from A Vineyard Wine Tour was the best recommendation of them all!

We had a fantastic stay at Hideaway House! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the charm and thoughtful touches throughout the home. The welcome materials including a variety of local pamphlets were incredibly helpful and made it easy to plan our wine-filled adventures.Traveling as two couples on a wine trip, we couldn’t have asked for a better location. The house is just a few walkable blocks from downtown McMinnville, where we enjoyed tasting rooms, restaurants, shops, and breweries. It also served as a perfect home base for exploring nearby wineries, all within a short and scenic drive. The home was super clean and the kitchen had all the cookware and utensils we needed. The outdoor amenities were great. We loved gathering around the wood-burning fire pit and relaxing under the covered area with a gas firepit. If you're looking for a charming, comfortable, clean and conveniently located home near town, Hideaway House is a perfect choice. We highly recommend it and would absolutely stay again!

I can’t say enough about how great this property was to stay in and how incredible our host was! Casey was so easy to deal with. Communication with him was always instant. The house was perfectly located to everything we wanted to do (walks, shop, eat and drink). It never took very long to drive to any of the great vineyards in Willamette. We would highly recommend this house to anyone and would definitely stay here again. Thank you Casey for everything, including the birthday balloon for my husband!

Well, we couldn’t have been more blessed with an opportunity to stay at the Hideaway house, located in McMinnville Oregon. It was a fantastic rendezvous point for our five days of wine tasting through the valley. Four of us stayed there and all four of us, would highly recommend Casey, his hospitality and the Hideaway house! Next trip to Willamette Valley, must include a stay in McMinnville, and this is the place. All the best,James.

Hideaway House is everything you'd want and much more! The house is immaculate, extremely comfortable, stocked with everything you'd need and more with a beautiful yard and perfect backyard space to relax in the evenings. This is a perfect location to walk a few streets downtown to restaurants, shops and wine tastings along with many tastings within a close drive. Casey is the best owner we've ever worked with and truly appreciate his attention to detail along with great communication. This is our second time staying there and we'll be back!

casey mclane welcomed us to this property for an extended visit. Casey is a wonderful host and this was the perfect location and base camp for us to visit many wineries and restaurants in the area. Easy couple of blocks walk to 3rd Street breweries and wineries. Hideaway House is very, very comfortable and very, very clean. Lots of extra amenities are provided: extra towels, nice cookware, white noise machines in the bedrooms and throw blankets for couches inside and out. The backyard area is especially enchanting. I highly recommend a stay here.

The Hideaway House had the best attention to detail of any VRBO I have stayed at. We choose our stays based on backyard accommodations & this one excelled. The propane firepit worked out great on a rainy night. Easy walk to downtown McMinnville. Our host was quick to respond & very gracious!
