Handicap Friendly Pets Allowed Beach House - Ocean Across the Street with Elevator!

The house was clean, beds were comfortable, and the location was great! Walking distance to the beach, tons of parking, and the elevator was perfect for our grandmother that has difficulty with stairs. We didn’t bring our dog this time, but will definitely bring him next time as this location is very pet friendly! Check-in and check out was easy as well.

Very easy process. Great location just one street over from beach access. Plenty of room. Nicely appointed. Clean and well represented by listing. Would definitely stay there again.

The house was very clean and accommodating. It’s just a short walk to the beach and to the shops.

We had a wonderful time at this house! We booked it VERY last minute when our trip to Rhode Island was canceled due to a blizzard. Booking this house was extremely easy and smooth.The house has everything you need and is extremely comfortable, including the beds. Excellent location and the elevator was great for my bad knees. The fenced back yard was great for the dogs. We would absolutely say there again!

This was a great space for our two families. Plenty of room for 4 adults and 4 kids and 2 dogs. The fenced in backyard was a nice touch for the pets. The beach is 100 yds away and Center St is a 5 min walk. Perfect location. We would definitely visit again.

Great home for family vacation

This house was perfect for us. It was clean and had a practical floor plan. Super thick bath towels and plenty of paper products were provided. The elevator helped transport the old doggies up and down to the fenced in yard for potty breaks or when I walked them on the beach. The house was conveniently located (practically across the street) to a nice beach access. It was also close enough for us to walk to Center Street for popular restaurants (Rita's) and gift shops (Mr. John's) as well as the pier. The kitchen was set up nicely with a very nice refrigerator (it looked new), nice stove, cabinets and counters. I really liked the washer and dryer as well. I was amazed at the games and books available for guests. I got so engrossed in one of the books that I ordered a copy for myself from Amazon since I wasn't able to finish it while there. The handicapped accessible shower is also extremely nice. I fell in love with the Pawley's Island hammock on the front porch and liked the fact that the porch was gated so I was able to let my dogs out there without fear of them falling off. I would put their dog beds out there while I read and napped in the hammock and they seemed to enjoy it all as much as I did. This was a wonderful place to stay!

Check in was easy and we had great communication with the owner throughout our stay! Super dog friendly and great location.

Great location and awesome house! The beds did have some sand in the sheets but other than that excellent stay. I do wish there were some available beach chairs at the property. We would definitely return.

A perfect location for enjoying the beach and downtown Folly. We enjoyed the comfortable beds and pillow choices. The kitchen is well equipped and the appliances were excellent. We especially appreciated the elevator for loading and unloading. Thank you for a great week!

Handicap friendly, pet friendly, and easy ocean access were necessary for our combined family of eight. This home definitely met our requirements!

We have stayed here the last 2 times we have visited, great house, location is fantastic, and my favorite part is relaxing on the front porch hammock with my grands and fur babies!

The house and location were great! The response from the owner was very good. Our problem was that the internet service was totally unreliable. We had three people that needed it for work so that was a big issue. Those three were able to join the family vacation based on internet access for work. Seems like Comcast doesn’t serve the area very well. Lesson learned! Otherwise, the vacation spot was wonderful!

We enjoyed our stay in this home on Folly Beach. Even though it was not on front beach, it was a very short walk. The pictures in the add, though, are outdated as it shows a view of the ocean. The beautiful oak tree out front totally blocks that view. (It really needs to be pruned.). The elevator was a huge help as we carried heavy items upstairs. We were able to sleep 11 comfortably. The fenced backyard was awesome since we brought our furry child with us. She loved it and we loved not having to leash her to take her outside. The two driveways made movement easy since everyone went different directions at various times. Being able to pull out in the road behind the house as well as the front was helpful as well. I did reach out to the property manager about the significant leak coming from one of the showers but did not hear back. Hope they are able to get that fixed soon. The only other concern was the internet. Seems like the router needs to be updated as we had very spotty service. Again, despite these few things, we really enjoyed our stay in this home. We would highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay, it was a 60th birthday celebration with family. Great having a working elevator to get wheelchair and mother-in-law around safely. Would have preferred the beds to be a little lower for her, but it worked out fine. The space was definitely great for our needs and a fenced yard was an added pleasure for the children.

My family and I appreciated that the house was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. We loved being so close to the beach and a short walk to the restaurants and stores on Center Street. My sons and daughter-in-law worked remotely during the week and enjoyed taking calls out on the spacious, shady deck. We've stayed in several great places in Folly Beach, and this was our favorite!

This was my family’s second time booking this house. It works perfect for our group of six - everyone gets their own corner of the house with a great common area. And the porch can not be beat! You’re just across the street from the beach and a short walk to Center. Can’t wait to come back!

This was our second time staying at the property and I know we'll be back. The elevator is invaluable for our older family members who have issues with stairs, the fact that the property allows for dogs is amazing, and the location is great. Thank you for another great trip to Folly!

I had an amazing stay at the beach house. Everything was so close, and the beach was right across the street! My kids had so much fun playing games and reading. They did not want to leave. We will need to come back again, for sure. A bonus is that we got to stay over Super Bowl weekend and watch our team win. The water was always warm, and there was a cute little backyard. The elevator was really convenient, too. It was a great place for a family reunion. Thanks so much for everything!

The house is conveniently located near the beach (right across the street) and to downtown (an easy 3 block walk). Its bedrooms were comfortable and the kitchen had ample cookware and space. Our family of 6 had plenty of room though if you need the bunk beds in the loft, there’s no way to restrict light or sound for that area.

LOVED the house and the Folly Beach area. This was our first visit to the area and enjoyed it immensely. The elevator was a blessing with two grandmas who joined us for Thanksgiving. The layout of the home was great, too, along with allowing pets at no additional charge/fees. Our daughter’s French Bulldog came over a few times for a visit and enjoyed the fenced in backyard. Would love to stay here again.

The house worked out great for our family of eight. The two grandkids enjoyed the loft. Not far from the wedding venue, and in walking distance to Center Street close to shops and restaurants. The drive-through driveway is really helpful as Ashley Street can be busy.

The house was well stocked with all you need to spend a week at the beach..even found sand toys and toys in the house for the grandsons. The front deck was roomy and we had plenty of chairs for everyone. And a variety of dishes and utensils along with pots and pans…even some small appliances. Washer and dryer came in handy. The trash was a bit of a hassle, thought the property manager should have handled that but couldn’t even get a hold of them…they never returned our call. We would go back again especially because the elevator was great for those who couldn’t take the stairs. Our grandson who is in a wheelchair got sick just before we came, so he and Dad stayed home, actually in the hospital…but we hope to bring them next time. Love Folly Beach.

This was our second time staying here and it was just as great as our last visit. We stayed a few days more this time and still hated to leave after 9 days. This is a perfect place to stay if you have dogs. Great fenced in yard for them to play in and easy walk to beach access across the street. Dogs loved daily beach walks as much as we did. Will be planning to return again next year.

Good for wheelchair. Need grab bar on shower wall below water control valve. Front wall of shower. Bed is too high for easy transfer from wheelchair.

This is a great house, great location, everything you'll need for your vacation. The fenced yard is excellent for your four legged companion.

We enjoyed another stay at this beach house. This year we stayed two weeks and it was wonderful. The house is located very close to the beach access which makes go to and coming back very convenient. The house is fairly equipped with everything you’ll need. Elevator is a bonus! Check I /out is very clear and quick. We look forward to staying here again! Thank you!!
