Gulf Views. Steps to beach and pool. Pets ok. Beautiful, lush property.

The property was as pictured. It was a short walk to the beach and the property was beautiful and private despite still being easy to access. We really enjoyed the patio in the evenings. We would love to stay again!

Nice relaxing time

The house and gated community was very nice and relaxing. Beach access and swimming pools were very close to the house.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Island Girl! The beach home was very clean, charming and well appointed. The area was delightfully quiet. Situated above the trees there was only a limited view of the gulf, but it was just a short walk to the wonderful beach through a beautiful and magical trail. The bike trails were really nice and we rented bikes from Island Dog. They delivered them so we could explore Nick’s Hole and other areas in The Plantation on the bay side as well.

We had a wonderful 3-day stay and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The home was clean, comfortable, and full of charm—such a unique and cute property, with plenty of shade that made it especially relaxing.Everything we needed was thoughtfully provided, and it truly felt like a home away from home. One of our favorite parts was the short walk through a beautiful nature trail leading to the beach. The beach itself was peaceful, not crowded at all, and perfect for seashell hunting.We also really appreciated that the property is dog-friendly—it made the trip that much more enjoyable for us. The host was kind, responsive, and easy to communicate with throughout our stay.No complaints whatsoever—we would absolutely stay here again and are already looking forward to returning in the future.

Beautiful and serene house nestled in a little forest! We loved our stay and really enjoyed the short walk to the beach as it made you feel like you were in another country! Renay was very quick to respond and very welcoming. Highly recommend this house

Had a great relaxing week at the property with our toddler and dog… the beach and trails nearby are beautiful with plenty of wildlife to see.

Everything was perfect, amazing beaches, quaint downtown, fantastic state park and the accommodations were perfect also

Great quick walk to the beach and the view of the stars and night sky was gorgeous from the deck.Felt private and safe.The 2nd bathroom would be great for kids, but the shower head is really low. The updated bathroom was perfect. Beds were comfortable.Overall we had a wonderful stay.

Excellent all around! This is the cutest, coziest, beach cottage. Perfect for a family with pets wanting to be close to the beach (less than 5 minute walk) without the massive price tag. You almost feel as if you’re tucked away in a treetop bungalow with all the beautiful trees & vegetation surrounding the property. I can be a bit of a clean freak & sometimes pet-friendly properties are not kept to my personal standards, but this was absolutely not true for Island Girl. Everything was super tidy and had all we needed more. Owner, Renay was one of the best parts of our stay! She was extremely responsive and helpful when we had any questions or needs. We enjoyed the walkability of the location, as well as being a short car ride from the restaurants/shops. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something private yet just close enough to the necessities. We will certainly be returning! Thank you for your hospitality, Renay!

Very welcoming and perfect for our weekend getaway.

The island girl property was pleasantly tucked back in a secluded wooded area surrounded by trees and very private. It was our anniversary weekend getaway. While the inside was very dated, it was clean. Loved the long kitchen counter; the bedrooms were not large but comfortable with queen size beds. I especially fell in love the glass windows and doors with no blinds or curtains only the outdoor view of the wilderness and sunshine beaming through. As well as the walk-in shower in the first bedroom. The wooden deck pathway leading to the beach needs to be cut back free from palm tree limbs that are over extending the walkway. I wood have liked a pool located on the property, but i enjoyed the free access to the Magnolio Clubhose pool only 5 min driving time. It was large, clean abd beautiful. While I like a more modern look, this property is perfect for those who prefer a traditional and old southen comfort feeling. Best of all, The owner of Island girl communicated with us timely, responing to our questions and provided excellent information and directions. We had a relaxing time.

My husband and I stayed at Island Girl last week and loved every minute of it. We loved that it was secluded and private yet a quick stroll to an untouched beach!

Island Girl was a wonderful place for us to stay on SGI with my husband and 2 year old. Only a short walk to the beach and so peaceful and quiet tucked back in a woodsy area. The host was very quick to respond and made sure everything was communicated clearly. She even gave us some great food recommendations. We had all that we needed at the house and plenty of room for us three and it was all nice and taken care of. Would definitely stay again!

Our first vacation as a family of four was great! St George Island is very chill and near by town Apilachicola is very quaint. The property is very close to the beach and only a short bike ride from the neighborhood pool. The house is super unique and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a week’s worth of meals. The only down sides were the beds were not great and the tubs wasn’t the best for bath time.

Enjoyed our weekend on st george island. Beautiful beach and island. Loved the hiking trails in the area as well;

We loved this home! It has a cozy and rustic feel. The pathway to the beech is magical and brings you to the beauty and peace of the Gulf of Mexico. Our host was extremely responsive and made it known that she wanted us to truly relax and feel at home.
