Gîte La Patouille

We are fans. If we had a week to stay in the Loire Valley, we would stay there again. I was worried it would be on a main road, but the location was quiet. Overall, it fit our needs nicely. All four kids had their own bed. We are wimpy Americans, so we asked for the heat to be turned up, and Céline did it. There was no bread knife, broom, shower soap, shampoo, or window shades in the master bedroom, but this did not detract significantly from our stay.

This property is stunning! Beautiful decoration throughout and attention to details. Was decorated for Christmas while we were there which added a special touch. Communication with host was easy. Washer/dryer was extra nice since we were traveling 10 days. Easy to make home cooked meals with things provided.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and spacious. We appreciated the well equipped kitchen and washer/dryer. If we ever have the opportunity to visit the Loire Valley again, we would not hesitate to stay at this beautiful property.

Our family of five was very comfortable here and Celine is a gracious and responsive host. The house is within walking distance of two grocery stores and Château Gaillard. Amboise city center is a short drive away with many shops and restaurants.

We absolutely loved this place! Everything was neat and clean, perfectly posh for our family. We loved that we were a little outside of the city but close enough to hop in our rental car and visit the Sunday market and shops. It was our favorite home rental during our stay in France. The owner was gracious and helpful with any questions we had. If we ever get back to Amboise, we will be staying here again!

Great clean and comfortable Gite. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Super location to see the many chateaux.

After a brief stay at a nearby property that was not up to par, this was exactly what we needed and hoped for while in Amboise. Everything was clean, the design was beautiful, the owner was responsive, there was plenty of space and we loved the dedicated parking and private gate. We would definitely recommend to anyone looking to visit!

This property is modern, comfortable and beautiful. We were a group of 5 adults and found plenty of room for all of us. The outdoor space was especially appreciated and we spent an entie afternoon sitting out there.

Wonderful stay in Amboise seeing the Chateau and relaxing in a beautiful House!! The space was soooo clean And well equipped and beautifully decorated!!
