Stayed Oct 31, 2025The house was perfect for our big group, it was nice to sit down and all eat together! We also all camped out in the living room for the last World Series game. Emily was very accommodating and answered questions quickly! The hot tub was a bonus!

Stayed Oct 23, 2025Excellent place for a large group to stay and enjoy themselves. The adventure shed was ideal for anyone who want to go for a bike ride and the nature trail right off the back of the property was an extra bonus. Any questions or concerns were answered promptly.

Stayed Aug 17, 2025Great location and very good service. The main house was very clean. One downside would be that the beds in the main house were uncomfortable. The bunk house was exceptional. Felt like a hotel stay in each of the rooms. Another downside is that there should be better lighting around the bunk house after sundown. Overall, we would definitely book again and recommend this place highly!

Stayed Sep 1, 2025This VRBO was great. It's in a great location and easy to get to Sister Bay and Egg Harbor. The owner recommended great activities and good restaurants since I was not familiar with the area.

Stayed Jul 19, 2025Great location for beaches, hiking & ice cream. Emily quickly responds to questions. Our 3 generation family reunion was great fun with lots of activities, ending with a fire & smores at night. Would highly recommend this property!

Stayed Jul 12, 2025Chatham Hills was a great setting for our large family gathering. The location, the bunkhouse, multiple gatherings spots, fire pit, Adventure Shed and private suites were enjoyed by all. The management was quick to respond to any questions or issues that came up during our stay. We enjoyed our week at Chatham Hills!

Stayed Jun 23, 2025For 22 years our multi-generational family has gathered together on one property to enjoy time together and this year was superb. The main house was large and open-spaced enough to accommodate this gathering of 18. The kitchen was stocked very well with all the eating and cooking utensils one could ask for. The bedrooms felt very inviting and not one complaint about a bad sleep. We enjoyed early morning walks around the village and on a few of the back roads. We did indulge with a meal at Wilson's and a fish boil at the Old Post Office, in addition to visiting Cherry Orchards, Peninsula State Park, Cana Island Lighthouse, neighboring towns, and Washington Island. Thanks for an amazing adventure in Door County. P.S. The younger set did comment that this was a great house for playing sardines, just in case anyone inquires. :)

Stayed Jun 19, 2025This was a great stay for a family reunion - everyone from my 90 year old mom to her 8 week old great-granddaughter had a wonderful time. So nice to have enough rooms that all the couples could have their own space. We loved the hot tub, and spent many hours in conversation gathered around the fire ring. We could not have asked for a better spot to gather with our loving family.

Stayed Jun 12, 2025This was a great trip. We had 19 people total and there was plenty of room for everyone. The hot tub was a great thing to have considering the weather was a bit cold when we went. Everyone had an amazing time. This is the second time we booked this location and we plan on doing so again.

Stayed Jun 3, 2025The main house was great as a gathering place for family activities. The Adventure Shed was a hit with the young adults. We could hike, bike, kayak, eat and shop because of our wonderful location right in the middle of action. We had a great time.

Stayed May 23, 2025This is a unique property for large group gatherings. The house and individual hotel-style rooms provided a good mix of gathering space with private downtime. The adventure shed and outdoor space provide lots of variety. Quick walk or bike ride to Anderson Dock and Wilson's Ice cream. Access to Land Trust trails provide nice light hike. Overall a great property with something for everyone. Some small cautions -- the road is very busy and there was no deadbolt on the doors. Watch small children very carefully if they are prone to open doors and try to sneak out. While the property has been remodeled and was clean, it is as older building and has its quirks.

Stayed Nov 7, 2024The main house, bunkhouse and all of the amenities were wonderful. We couldn't have asked for better accommodations. The house and bunkhouse were both well-appointed and very clean. It was too cold to take advantage of all that the Adventure hut offered, but we hope to do so next year.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We had a group of nine couples that stayed for the weekend. The place was perfect for our weekend as each couple had a private bathroom and bedroom. The kitchen area was large enough for all of us to be together for meals. We enjoyed the firepit and hot tub. There were plenty of lawn chairs for our group to enjoy the outside fire. We hope to come back next year.

Stayed Oct 25, 2024Such a great layout. There are essentially 8 private en-suite bedrooms with their own private bathrooms in a separate building immediately adjacent to the main house. The main house had additional bedrooms, a nice kitchen, a table that sat all 14 people in our group with some room to spare. The backyard has a huge fire pit with 12+ large Adirondack chairs and plenty of spaces for yard games, even a playset for kids.

Stayed Oct 13, 2024The property was lovely and as described. We were there in mid October so we did not use the hot tub or the grills but inside the house and bunkhouses was as described. Communication with the host was prompt and courteous. We utilized the large table for eating and playing games with the large group. One metal chair was damaged from a previous renter and we thought that it should have been removed as it looked unsafe to sit in. We would definitely return if we came back to the area.

Stayed Jul 13, 2024My family has been getting together every two years at rentals all over the U.S. This is one of the best places we’ve stayed. There were 15 of us and we used all of the bedrooms. The main house had a huge table so we could all eat together. The house and bunk house were very clean. The laundry room was very nice. The equipment in the Adventure Shed was in good condition. We enjoyed playing cornhole and riding bikes. We rented kayaks since we all had rental cars and did not want to try to put kayaks in them to haul them to a public beach. If you have a carrier you’ll be fine. We had a wonderful week!
