Stayed Sep 10, 2022My three sisters and I recently enjoyed a Door County week together. This home was perfect for the four of us with room to spread out. We loved the quiet setting away from the busy road but yet just a few minutes walk to restaurants. We frequently had coffee on the patio and enjoyed the deer and piliated woodpeckers every evening. Sandy was available and responsive to any concerns.

Stayed Sep 4, 2021The Hobby House is adorable! The home is clean and cozy, and the location is perfect. We enjoyed long walks in the woods, strolls into town, and the nearby public beach was a hit with the kids. We can’t wait to come back.

Stayed Aug 15, 2020This was my first time in Door County and about the 15th for my wife and her parents. The Hobby Horse was a house my in-laws had seen and walked past for 20 years but were never able to secure for themselves. My wife and I reserved this house as an anniversary present to them and for a vacation for our family. To put it mildly, this house was more a home than anything. It was absolutely perfect for a family of 7, including two small children. The location was perfectly set just a two minute walk from the main roadway up the peninsula and still gave great views of Ephraim Bay and a quiet forested lot in which to relax. Everything we could have needed was provided, the home was quiet, clean, inviting and it is absolutely a place we will be coming back to again and again.

Stayed Jun 12, 2021We enjoyed our stay very much. The Hobby Horse Cottage was very clean, neat and well equipped. The central location is very convenient for all the favorite places in Door County. Great for families with a nice large yard.
