Great house steps to the lakefront!

Tjis is a wonderful place and a wonderful area to hang and chill! Easy access and just a short distance from all the neighborhood restaurants and shops. If you want to unwind, unwind here!! Very comfortable and great value for the price!!

Beautiful promenade along north shore of Lake Pontchartrain. Great location for leisure but also for those who like to keep fit and active. Trail to Fontainebleau State Park is a couple blocks away. Pontchartrain is one block in the other direction. Can ride bikes provided all the way to Fontainebleau. The rooms are comfortable. Livingroom was big enough to play workout videos in. Games provided. Really cute place. Lots of neighbors, but it was really quiet the entire time we were there. Pretty much everything required for a great stay. Only issue was the dust. Couldn't use the fan in my room (they do have a/c) unless I wanted to open it up and clean the heavily dusted blades. Checking that the tv cables were connected properly (as suggested by tv) - kind of a nightmare back there. If you're allergic to dust bunnies, bring your meds.

This cozy cottage was perfect for our annual Mother's Day weekend! Even though it rained all weekend, we happily stayed indoors playing games and making memories. We will definitely be back to do some bike riding with the bike path right in front and the Trace so close by as well as the lakefront. We enjoyed lunch at Rip's and visiting the historic hardware store and museum in nearby Covington. Our host was very accommodating and informative. Great cottage in the trees!

A great home that provided a comfortable stay.

Lovely, clean home! We especially loved the comfortable beds and relaxing on the porch. It was great to be so close to the lake, and my kids enjoyed going to the nearby playground. Susan was communicative without being intrusive and was a great host.

House was perfect. Very clean and had everything we needed for a vacation with our 18 month old kids! Great location too, walking distance to lakefront and a park for the kids. Host was responsive and very accommodating. Would highly recommend this to anyone looking!

This place was amazing! The pull out couch was 1000/10! The most comfortable one I’ve ever slept on! The hosts are so friendly!!

Spaciious living areas and bedrooms. Well maintained and clean. Lovely furnished balcony area to relax or drink coffee. Short walking distance to beautiful Lakefront area for walking, views, park for kids and plenty of restaurants and shopping. Highly recommend. I am a repeat visitor!

Very clean, beautiful house in the perfect Mandeville location.

This beautiful house had everything and more! The beds were so comfortable both my cousin and I dreaded returning to our own beds in Texas and Colorado! We slept like 20 year olds. The entire house was immaculate, and the kitchen was stocked with better utensils and pottery than I own. I have 1 suggestion for coffee lovers -- you need at least 2 larger coffee cups for your coffee maker, lol. Thank you for providing such a long-awaited and needed restful vacation abode. I told all my relatives in Mandeville, Covington and they will send this address to their other relatives to rent. Wonderful place.

We were visiting the WWII museum in New Orleans and the location was perfect for not wanting to stay in New Orleans. The home was clean and comfortable and the host was wonderful to work with. Would definitely stay here again!

We came into town for potentially moving into the area and wanted to experience what Mandeville was like. This was a fantastic location so close to walk to everything. Right near the lake so you could enjoy the lake. Could not ask for a better place to stay. Extraordinarily clean and all of the essentials were available And in great shape. If we don't move to the area, we would definitely come back to stay here to visit.

Something in the description or picture should indicate this home is not handicapped accessible. We had a wonderful and the house was beautiful. However having three people with bad knees and managing luggage, groceries, etc, up and down stairs was extremely difficult.

Four of us (two couples) came to Mandeville for the Wooden Boat Festival taking place in Madisonville. The house is perfect with a great location, very clean, and supplied with all the utensils that you would need. It is also just down the street from several restaurants and our favorite, Rip's On The Lake. We will definitely book this again on our next trip to the North Shore.
