We had a wonderful stay with Bill & Marina. Great communication and easy check in. It was perfect for our family (5 Adults) and close to all the sights in Portland. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The location worked very well for our needs. Communication great with the host and both check-in and check-out were very smooth. The space was warm and comfortable, with many basic necessities provided, which made it easy to settle in and feel at home. Overall, it served its purpose very well for our stay.

We had a great stay. The place was perfect for my siblings and I to gather while in town for a celebration of life. Clean, spacious and super comfortable. And close to the Tri-Mex.

Comfortable,safe, quiet,secluded property in a wonderful neighborhood. Great for neighborhood walks. Convenient to freeway and services. House is cozy, and quiet with all the comforts of home in a smaller footprint. Communication was exemplary and check in/out a breeze. Def recommend staying here

We have stayed here before and appreciate the kitchen facilities, spaciousness & beautiful nature setting. Bill, the host, is very nice to deal with. And appreciative that there are two bathrooms.

I was there with two colleagues for some coursework and it was a nice quiet place for after being in class all day! Easy to get to and close to Providence! Will definitely stay here again in the future!

Bill and Marina were very gracious hosts. The place was clean, cozy and the kitchen had everything one needs to cook for a family. Communication was excellent and the neighborhood is safe, clean, and surrounded by nature. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who enjoys a quiet, clean and well-kept place to stay when they are away from home.

The guest house is charming, nestled in a lovely garden among raised vegetable beds, fruit trees, and berry bushes. My two teens commented that their beds were very comfortable, and they don't normally mention such things! I agree. The kitchen is well-appointed with everything needed to make and enjoy meals. Although we didn't use them, it was nice to have access to a washer and dryer. My only comment on furnishings is that it would be nice to have a small desk available for those who need to do some work during their stay. The location is ideal with close access to a major highway, yet the property feels secluded and peaceful. There are also lots of restaurants and stores less than 10 minutes away. Bill is a welcoming host and was kind to offer a basketball for us to shoot hoops. There is also a swing set that is fun for kids. We will definitely book again next time we visit family in the area! I highly recommend!

This is a great cozy house. It was perfect for three friends, who each wanted her own room. The house is a short distance to a metro stop and very close to the Japanese Tea Garden. Yet it is in a beautiful quiet neighborhood. Thank you!!

The check in for the guest house was just as posted! Real easy! The house was clean and fully stocked with everything you need for a great stay. We loved the outdoor space for the family.

The house was very nice and we all enjoyed our stay there. The amenities listed were not quite accurate (there’s no bidet in the bathrooms and the tennis courts were at a neighborhood park and not on the property). But overall, our stay was well equipped and comfortable.

Lovely! We were close to everything and still very quiet and secluded. The home was very comfortable.

My family (husband and myself sister's family of 4) rented this fabulous guest house for 1 week as we were in Beaverton for a competition nearby. It's conveniently located and served as an oasis for us to decompress and unwind. We loved having a fenced-in, spacious outdoor area, surrounded by a raised-bed vegetable garden and shaded by lush trees. Bill was an attentive, responsive, kind host. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your guest house!

This property was wonderful. It was homey and comfortable, we had everything we needed. We came to visit our granddaughter for her 4th birthday. She calls it our Portland house now. Will definitely stay again!

The property was -amazing, the hosts were even more amazing- big and little things!!!! The property is in an amazing location, 15 min from Portland, 15 min from Washington Park and incredible hiking. Everything that we needed was provided, including water and trail mix packs upon our arrival :) My mother, who is unable to hike needed to stay back during those days and hang out at the property. I suggested a more comfortable seat in the living room for such guests. That night they showed up to the door with a comfy chair FROM THEIR HOUSE. These hosts go above and beyond!

My friends and I were attending a training at a nearby venue, and this home was perfect to come back to after long days. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is well-supplied with utensils and pots/pans, and the neighborhood is great for walks. Hope to stay here again soon!

This guesthouse was super conveniently located for the visiting we did in town. Very well-equipped kitchen, and we appreciated having laundry facilities.Our only real complaint is how uncomfortable the bed was in the main bedroom. No complaints from the kids in their rooms, though.

My stay was phenomenal! The place was private, spacious, and just a very short drive away from Portland!The owners were very nice and accommodating and I would 100% recommend staying here.

I had a peaceful stay while I was in town. Super nice area. Checking in was quick, simple and easy. Everything was clean. I loved the decor and the well maintained house. The house was cozy. The host was very friendly and communicative. 10/10 I highly recommend staying here when you come to Portland :)

We stayed a full week over the Christmas holiday. The guest house had everything we needed for a very nice stay. Appreciated the holiday decorations. Never got to meet the owners as they were also away for the holiday. Felt at home and very safe behind a locked gate. I recommend anyone staying near Portland to give this place a try.

Great location for west Portland. Older detached home from vrbo owner's home. Safe house regardless to neighborhood area but house itself needs some updates with electrical/plates. House has a musty smell but goes away w/ heat up. Noticed lots of candles around so used them for old/musty smell. A main bedroom has an air mattress (for mattress) that deflated as you sleep. Re-inflates easy but still uncomfortable. Bummer it didn't work out . We come to west Portland area a lot! Homeowner fairly gBummer! easy.

Good location, friendly owners, beautiful garden

Our family of 4, including a 4-year-old and 1-year-old, had a very pleasant stay. Everything was as advertised and our hosts helped us handle the airline losing our bags by receiving them when we were not present.

Perfect location. 1.5 miles from groceries, shopping, numerous restaurants but sitting on back porch it's quiet and peaceful. Park with tennis, basketball, and nice playground is a 5 minute walk. Very friendly and helpful host. Hope this place will be available should we have opportunity to visit the area again.

This is second summer I, my ex and our two daughers have stayed at the Heuffners, both times for two weeks. The cabin is great, stays cool in the heat, has a nice kitchen and we loved eating our meals on the outdoor patio. The location is excellent if you want to stay on west side of portland. I always take the little suite which is a small room that's mostly bed but has its own little bathroom. My ex and one of the girls would share the big suite connected to the big bathroom, and my youngest would get the back bedroom. Outside is also an adjustable basketball hoop and Bill will give you a basketball to play with. I enjoyed daily neighborhood walks up and down hills through the beautiful trees. The only nits is there is only a single shower in the big bathroom so sometimes we had to wait for each other. The bed in the little suite is an air mattress, if you stay for a while like we do it slowly deflates, but it has an electric pump so just takes a few seconds to refill it to the level of firmness I prefer. The washer/dryer are a little small but we never had any problems getting our laundry done. Other than that its perfect and I hope we are always able to stay here for the rest of my summers.
