Great family house! Great beach access and ocean views! Newly renovated!

Great house and great location!

Such a great house for a family vacation! Surprisingly the most fun was exploring on the bikes! The house had everything we needed for our stay. Great beach access and close to all the things we wanted to do. The host was very responsive. I would stay here again!

Gorgeous home with sunrise views from the back deck and incredible sunset views from the front! We were so appreciative for the beach toys, chairs for everyone and towels! Bikes for everyone too!! Ground level games kept the kids busy while adults enjoyed beverages on one of the many outdoor gathering spaces around the house. Beach was steps away and gave kids ability to run home and grab snacks when they needed to… 3 golf carts let us all do our own thing. Kathy was super responsive and flexible with us! Just don’t forget shampoo and conditioner!

We do a BHI Gang getaway each year. 8 of us. The pictures don’t do the house justice. The renovations are great. Access to the beach is fantastic. The decks are wonderful! Lots of chairs. Grill worked. All 3 golf carts worked well (last guests had not plugged in the older two so we had to wait on those). This house should get a 5 rating. The next few comments are hoping the hosts can encourage the team to take better care of the house. The floors were not clean and the bathroom rugs should be washed. The rugs under both dining tables are a huge fall risk. They are curled up and we finally taped them down to keep from tripping. The dishwasher door has been “bent down” and a full rack of dishes rolled right out. The main tv in the family room fell off the wall and hung by the cable until we ran to prop it up. Very scary, could not be disconnected from the tv mount and couldn’t be used. Unfortunately these things happen, but unless the owners are notified by the team that takes care of the house, the problems remain. We spoke with the owners and reported the tv and dishwasher.

We had a wonderful time in this home! Our kids had a blast and it was very kid-friendly. The beach access was perfect and we enjoyed our mornings at the beach. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer! We will for sure be coming back to this home. The hosts were wonderful.

Sunset view was gorgeous. Couldnt really see the ocean but it was right across the street. Location was great! House was very clean. Host was very responsive and helpful. House had a lot of amenities. Really enjoyed our stay!

This was a perfect beach getaway for our family vacation We had a wonderful stay at this recently renovated home right across from the beach. The house was clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The outdoor space and decks were a huge bonus—plenty of seating, a hammock, and fun activities that kept everyone entertained. It was the perfect spot for our family trip before our son heads off to college. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient beach getaway!

This was our first week at Bald Head and their home was perfect for our family. The layout with open kitchen living dinning was great for time spent together. The porches that basically wrap around the entire house gave us tons of options to sit and enjoy the outdoors. Even the screen in area was a hit. My kids loved the ping pong table and basketball game area under the house. It was a great place for them to play in the shade when not on the beach. House location was perfect for us. Directly across from beach access, extremely very close to BHI club, short golf cart ride to Marina, Old Baldy and the Market. The location in my opinion may be the biggest understatement of the property - can’t beat it!! Three golf carts and beach chairs, grill. It is all there! Homeowner was very responsive and wonderful to rent from, very accommodating - we highly recommend and look forward to coming back!

We loved our stay! The proximity to the beach made the walk quick and easy. The home was light, bright, and clean. The open setup of the living area made it perfect for our combined families. The owner was fantastic to work with.

Accommodations were excellent, great location on the island.

Nice trip. Good location. Would recommend another coffee pot. The current pot was extremely slow. Host was very accommodating.

We had the most incredible time staying at this property. The home was just steps from the beach, was as described in the listing, and Kathy was super helpful and friendly ahead of our arrival. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay at Turtle Territory! Perfect location for accessing the beach, close to the market and Club. Plenty of space and amenities for two families. We would definitely stay here again.

excellent beach house for a family vacation

We had an excellent stay for our family and friends Memorial Day weekend. The house is well equipped with a fully stocked kitchen, laundry detergent, hand soap, beach toys, chairs, umbrella which made the trip so much easier not having to pack everything. The house and location were perfect right across from the beach access. Our whole group adults and kids ages 7-13 had a wonderful time. The owner was quick to reply to all our questions. We can't wait to stay here again.

As the listing states, it’s great for families! The beach access is RIGHT THERE- this should almost be considered beach front property (just across the small street.) So convenient to run back for something or bathroom break, etc. Everything was as expected from the rental listing. Lots of games and cards, etc. The downstairs/outdoor area is also very fun with ping pong and a basketball game. Overall we are very satisfied!
