Gorgeous home in Wild Dunes with parking on Palm Blvd.

House was beautiful. It was clean, warm, & comfortable. Our family had a great time celebrating Christmas together.

We’d never been to IOP before, and we were pleasantly surprised by the laid back island and our beautiful rental house. Each bedroom had its own queen or king bed, and the bathrooms were plentiful! Beds were super comfy, living area spacious, lots of space on the screened in porch, amazing Wolf range and quality kitchen appliances!53rd Ave beach access had only three parking spaces at the end, but the walk to the beach from the house was about 150 yds….not too bad. Uncrowded beach, we even rented a surf board for a couple of days. Island Realty responded quickly to our communications and made our stay pleasant and easy.

The house was extremely clean and had all the necessities. The properties location is superb and I liked that we didn’t have to enter the neighborhood but rather had quick access from palm blvd. Nice space for parking and easy access to the beach. The check in process could not have been any easier. Great property!

Reviewer Comments: The location of this is perfect. The front yard/driveway is in Wild Dunes so you get all the perks of that but the back yard/driveway is on Palm Blvd, a quick walk to the beach. The only downside to this place is the starter kit (paper towels, etc) they give you is the cheapest and smallest. The hand soap in the bathrooms is almost nonexistent, the paper towels it the smallest cheapest roll I have ever seen. Also, pls note there are multiple steps to get in from either side of this house. the elevator is not for your use

We stayed here in early May for a Girls Weekend in Charleston. The house was spacious, super clean, and well stocked with supplies (though we would've loved having beach towels available). The house is inside the Wild Dunes gated golf community, but you can also park in the front of the house directly off Palm Blvd which we found convenient. The ocean is less than a block away. The upstairs bedrooms both feature small private balconies with French doors that we loved opening to get the cool cross breeze off the ocean. Neighborhood is very quiet (quiet hours are enforced). Some guests may find the check-in process inconvenient because you have to go the rental office instead of directly to property, but we were already in that area for lunch so it didn't impact us. Check-out procedures were very reasonable. It's a great spot and we absolutely plan to return. Highly recommend!

When we saw this property the move was worth it! Lovely house, and convenient location to beach access.

It was really disappointing to find an elevator that we used if it worked. Couple of problems - when putting on clean sheet due to husband's cut, found sheets were stained with old blood stains. The spline around the screening on the porch was the wrong size allowing the screening to constantly pop out1. We left a vase for other renters to use because we didn't find one there.

The property was very clean. It only takes about 5 minutes to walk to the beach, maybe less. We didn't even bother with our beach cart it was so close. It is also a nice walk up the beach to the ocean front bar, etc. Island Rentals was very helpful. When we arrived we had a shower that was not functioning properly and they had someone out right away to fix. The house could be improved with providing remotes for ceiling fans; cleaning to the outdoor furniture and with the addition of a swiffer and small handheld vacuum to keep the floors tidy throughout the week. We would 100% stay here again.
