Overall it was very nice…..great for the family….very roomy….kitchen had many good tools…we cooked some nice family dinners…nice to have a grill too…beautiful view of the pond and fountain ….in our backyard area…nice screened in porch and deck….kids had fun in the game room area….many nice amenities!! Also enjoyed the pool and hot tub and golf…many beach items in the garage that we used….also very nice….chairs, umbrellas, loved having 2 sets of washers and dryers….would recommend for sure!!!

Oh my goodness! Where do I begin! This home was amazing! It suited our family perfectly with three separate wings for each family yet areas for our family to congregate and be together for meals, games and family get togethers! The enclosed porch was the perfect place for morning coffee and breakfast and I loved that our grandson made his first family breakfast for everyone… pancakes on the grill provided for in the very well equipt kitchen. Everyone had thier own space to gravitate to each afternoon for video games, movies or playing Barbie’s while the adults made dinner. Nights were filled with family games on the back enclosed screened porch after dinner. Everyone enjoyed evenings after the kids went to bed enjoying music and time to catch up before retiring to comfortable beds! Bethany Bay is a beautiful resort where we were able to enjoy golf every morning, the pool or small beach in the river everydsy and quiet evenings in the deck every evening. The kids loved the freedom of being able to be independent to ride thier bikes through the community to the playground and tennis or pickleball courts m. Thus was a first time having a house versus a condo so we enjoyed Having a garage to store bikes, pool and beach paraphernalia m! This was an amazing vacation and home and we can’t wait to go back again next year!

Our family of 16 (8 adults, 8 children) stayed at this property for 7 nights. It was our first time visiting Delaware and overall it was pleasant. The property is located in a golf community and there is a pool, playground, tennis courts, and a basketball court within walking distance. It is very spacious and has a nice enclosed deck at the back overlooking a pond with a fountain. A gas grill is available for your grilling needs. A couple of things to mention: the arcade machine needs to be fixed (it worked here and there), the cleaning company absolutely needs to do a better job - there were dirty rags/towels on one of the washing machines, a bathroom rug was very wet, the beds in the rec room were dirty, leftover beer left in the fridge in the garage, etc., some of the smoke/carbon monoxide detectors kept falling off the walls (maybe needs new adhesive), the trash/recycling bins were full when we arrived (maybe add extra large ones) and VERY IMPORTANT - the garage is not deep so it can only fit a very small car. We tried fitting a minivan (Toyota Sienna) but it was too long. We had a total of 3 vehicles including a Ford F150 and Ford Expedition MAX and somehow managed to squeeze them on the driveway each night. Although the property is located at the end of a cul de sac, you are not allowed to leave your vehicles on the street overnight. One of the property owners, Peter, was very responsive and helpful so I appreciated that. Thank you again, Peter! We enjoyed our stay.

We gave it a 5 Star rating because 10 Stars was not available. It had everything we needed for 6 adults and 7 children. There was plenty of room, the kids liked the game room and the location was perfect - a short walk to the pool and a short drive to the beach. On the first day my 12 year-old grandson was already lobbying to come back next year.

The house is beautiful , I love how you feel at home while you’re staying in the house . They have lots of activities in the house you can do like cards , board games , bikes . The patio is very nice as well . My only complaint was the arcade machine was not working . Tried unplugging it for a while and re starting it but still didn’t work . Another thing that very well may not be the hosts fault but should know about is the cleanliness . There was some empty water bottles tucked into a bed under the covers with the sheets still on the bed, along with a a couple empty beer cans in the rec room. And the biggest thing was there was dried blood . A good amount on one of the dining room chairs , along with droplets on the floor leading to the kitchen . It was a significant amount. Never the less the house is great . I would stay again , however I would just make sure the cleaning crew is doing their job . So I won’t blame this on the owners as they were very accommodating and responsive !

House was amazing, everything we needed was there for the beach. Parking larger vehicles was tricky and there was no guest book with other instructions for overflow parking. Pool passes where expired but the worker was accommodating. 8/10

We enjoyed our stay. My husband died last July of cancer and we planned this as a goodbye. As a family when the kids were young we came to South Bethany every summer. Although it was a short drive to the beach area the neighborhood was very nice. We all talked about doing this every spring.

We had a family of 13 staying at this home and the space was ample. We picked this location specifically because of the dining table. It easily sat 12 with no problems. The golf community was nice. We enjoyed the views of the lighted bridge in the distance. The fountain in the pond was also nice. The local community of Bethany Bay was also charming. Would recommend/stay again.

We're a ministry and we had engagements to sing in Hartley and Dover De. We needed a place that would house all of us. This place was perfect.

The house is beautiful, but is in need of updating and maintenance. The twin beds were very uncomfortable and lumpy. So much so, that a couple people slept on the sofas. The light switch for the screened in porch gets hot. Just an FYI..

Great place clean loved the deck it was awesome

This is a spacious house that is very well equipped for a large group of various ages. The screen porch is lovely and plenty big enough to accommodate 7 adults and 2 active toddlers and the view to the east over the Bay is tremendous (I would have oriented the house that way!) The Bethany Bay community is a hidden gem . We loved the nature trail and enjoyed the pool. The only drawback is the traffic on the road to the ocean beach. What looks on the map like an easy couple of miles often took us 20 minutes. But the house more than made up for that minor setback.

Love the size of this house. This was our family beach vacation with me, my wife and our 3 kids and their families. Plenty of room for everyone. The pool, playground and pickle ball courts were a nice addition as an alternative to the beach. Also, the nature walk on site is really nice.

House could use some maintenance. Several items needed repair. Have a list if anyone needs it. Great neighborhood close to activities and shopping. Neighborhood is very quiet since the house is at the end of a cul-de-sac. Frogs in the pond sing at night.

Nice big house for our 3 families. Set up that we could each have a wing. We enjoyed golf, tennis, pool and launching a kayak all within walking distance. Nice for kids to safely bike in neighborhood. Enjoyed frog sounds at night and turtle sightings in the pond behind property.

Nice large house for our family to get together at. Great location, nice pool and close to the beach. Many things to occupy the children.
