Golf-View Palmilla Beach retreat with pool, private garage, & alfresco dining

We loved the house and seeing about it! Wish I knew what type of mattress was in the master bedroom. So comfy and slept very well. Thanks for everything

We enjoyed our stay at Palmilla Beach- Birdies & Bikinis. Beautiful home and was perfect for our family of 9 (7 adults & 2 teens). The home was very clean, decorated so well, and had everything you would need when away from home. Kitchen had all the bells and whistles and plenty of towels, and even beach toys, etc. Parking was ample and checking in and out was a very easy process. The guest service team was very quick and responsive. We enjoyed our time at the beach, pool, and even the fitness center. We had no issues with the AC and each room either had a ceiling fan or a stand alone fan. We will definitely be back next summer.

Nice home with room to spread out. The garage slot comes in handy, the WiFi and TV setup is the best I’ve seen in a rental home.

Let me begin with the positives. This home is beautiful. In fact the entire resort is absolutely gorgeous. The amenities are top notch, nearness to the beach, absolutely dreamy. I also want to state, before getting into why I gave this home such a low rating, that the staff was so wonderful. Whenever I have encountered a problem with a Vacasa home (and the problems before today have been rare), they have always been extremely helpful and attentive, and I have not had that experience with other vacation rental companies. Now for the negatives. It seems like during our stay we seemed to hit the issue jackpot. The main issue being the A/C never working in the downstairs portion of the unit, where two of the bedrooms are. The Vacasa staff truly tried their best to help us, and sent technicians out twice, and for that I truly appreciate their efforts. But not matter what small issues were found, (ducting leaking into the attic being one of the issues apparently), nothing worked and we spent four nights basically sleeping in a heater downstairs. I do feel that the A/C unit is having serious trouble keeping this unit cool, and therefore my family endured 80 degree nights every night in the downstairs area of the home. Upstairs stayed cool-ish, as long as we weren't using the stove or oven. But for what we paid we should be able to use the oven and stove. I could have lived with the smaller issues, ie: lights being out, no remotes for the fan and TV in one room( and we really needed the fan with the A/C being out), and a few other problems that I have shared with the company. Anyway, I could have tolerated all of those things without a single complaint. But no A/C in South Texas during July is it's own type of torture, and for that I took serious issue with this home. It stinks too, because this whole place is so beautiful, so I really want to say only nice things. But I can't. Thank you to literally every Vacasa employee that I spoke to, I will be the first to say that they were so kind, and tried their best to help. They are the reason for the Stars that I am giving. You guys are truly one of my favorite vacation rental companies. The A/C in this home just ruined what is truly a gorgeous home. I would definitely stay at Palmilla Beach Resort again, like seriously hands down one of the most gorgeous places to stay in Port A. But this home would need to address it A/C issues again before I could recommend it, because no A/C in the Texas heat is absolutely unacceptable.

I love the location and the amenities that it offered but once again the AC in this house did not work on the bottom floor. It got up to 80° at night when we were trying to sleep woke up drenched in sweat let the office know they sent somebody out and they said we were low on Freon and that they added some to it but the temperature never changed

We enjoyed this location, but would love to see some updates. With so much competition in the area, a few new upgrades could help this unit. Kitchen was rundown with limited supplies available. ( basic utensils, glasses etc.) Pillows need to be replaced. Limited bathroom towels. Overall, the house could use a refresh. Total bummer you can’t fit a car in the garage, there is plenty of parking on site but could be more limited during the weekend or holidays. Loved the easy access to the beach, pools are beautiful, and the staff was very friendly.

This is in a great location in Paula right around the corner from the small pool. Quick golf cart ride to the boardwalk to go to the beach. The house itself was spacious and comfortable with a nice second story porch.

We loved everything about this home - great location, friendly people who helped with everything we needed. We had 7 people and we were not crowded at all. The house was exactly as it looked online. Thank you for a great place - we will be back!
