This beautiful Key West style home is located on Harbor Island, a quiet private island just 15 minutes from Beaufort, SC. Harbor Island boasts a small neighborhood feel, having a private two-mile stretch of natural beauty, low-country calm beaches, which are just a short golf cart ride away within the neighborhood. The gated community has 5 freshwater lagoons, providing nesting areas for thousands of wading birds, gathering for their migratory flights. It's an ideal spot for families withyoung children. The sun sets every night right out of your front door, just above the Harbor River Bridge. This is the perfect place for a relaxing weekend getaway!
The home also comes with one four passenger golf cart. That's enough golf cart space for the entire family and gives easy access to all the island's amenities. Amenities include pools (Olympic size and kiddie), crabbing dock, tennis courts, pickle ball court, playgrounds, volleyball, basketball, fishing areas and fitness center. There is a saltwater tidal canal in the neighborhood that provides access to fishing and crabbing.

About the House: The 2 downstairs bedrooms have queen size beds and 32 inch Smart TV's. The upstairs loft bedroom has 1 full and 2 twin beds. It also includes a 32 inch Smart TV with a Sony Blue-Ray player. The family room has 4 sets of sliding glass doors that offer incredible views of the Harbor River and the marsh. It has a 50 inch Smart TV and Sony Blue-Ray player. All TV's are hooked into the wifi and have access to Hulu, Netflix, Youtube, etc. and are connected to Xfinity cable. Since we know your kids won't be able to stay off their electronics, we've set the house up with the fastest internet connection provided. This will provide easy streaming for 8 or more devices. There are two full baths with plenty of towels and linens. The kitchen is fully stocked. The rental includes a large front loading washer and dryer for your clothes and wet bathing suits. The deck off the main level wraps around the side and back of the home providing plenty of space for early morning coffee, reading or just lounging around in a rocking chair. If you have an electric car, I've provided a 220v outlet under the house. There are no pets allowed and guests must be 25 years or older to rent this property. Thank you for your understanding.

About the Area: We are located less than 2 miles from the entrance to Hunting Island State Park, South Carolina's most visited State Park. Their beaches have been voted most beautiful in South Carolina. Fripp Island has 2 outstanding golf courses, Ocean Creek and Ocean Point, which offer spectacular oceanfront views and are only 5 miles away. You can make easy day trips to Hilton Head Island (for golf and shopping) and Savannah (for great food and history) in about an hour. Charleston, with all its beauty and history, is around an hour and a half away. Beaufort, voted best small town in the south by Southern Living magazine, is only 20 minutes away.

Harbor Island is a private island that requires a gate pass to gain access to entry. Vehicle gate pass fees are per vehicle and are set by the Island. The current rates for an overnight pass: $25.00 first night, 2 nights $35.00, 3 nights $45.00, 4 nights $55.00, 5 nights $65.00, 6 nights $75.00, 7 nights $85.00 (contact us for longer stays). We do not charge for these upfront as the rates are subject to change and we take bookings as much as 18 months in advance. Please let me know how many parking passes you will need and you'll be billed for them separately.
