Golf Cart, River and Marsh Views, Oceanfront Community, Beautiful Sunsets

It’s a very nice property, has a few issues that could be addressed. Host was very quick to respond and easy to work with. Overall the island was beautiful and we had a Wonderful trip.

The house was very comfortable. Two nice beds and baths on the main floor and a nice loft upstairs. There were games and puzzles available and the sunsets were spectacular. Easy to find. Great value.

Nice house and location… people at gate were confused… probably new… bedrooms smaller than expected… double beds no queens as expected. Handyman needs to paint interior and unclog slow sinks in bathrooms, caulk around showers and tubs… corner cabinet in kitchen was off hinge when opened…the host book in house needs updating… old info….Easy communication with host… Overall a great week!!! Thanks!!!

Awesome home

The house was great! Host was nice

Our two families had a lovely time on the island. We spent time wandering the beach and cruising the island on the provided golf cart. While the property has bikes included, we decided to rent beach cruisers from the sweet lady at the clubhouse. Near the home we saw an alligator every day...very cool! The house itself seemed to have everything we needed for cooking meals at home. We encountered no problems and would recommend this house to other families.

I would give 10 stars if I could. This house was perfect. And Melissa was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. She was very fast at answering any questions that I had. And when there was an issue with the water on the whole island, she was constantly in touch to see how she could help me. The house had everything we needed, including extras like paper products, detergent, etc. The golf cart was such a great addition. The living room furniture was super comfy. Also, the beach chairs that were in the garage were so nice since one of our chairs that we brought, had broke the 2nd day! And the Hunting Island pass was great to have! I cannot say enough good things about this house and Melissa. We will definitely stay again! Thank you so much for sharing your house with us!!

We had a wedding in St. Helena Island so we made a vacation out of the trip. It was a great place to stay. Close to Fripp and Hunting Island. It was nice that the pass to Hunting Island was included and all of the amenities of Harbor Island. My husband, daughter and son & his girlfriend went on a dolphin watching boat tour using Coastal Expeditions. It was just across the bridge so it was very convenient. They said that the owner/boat captain was very nice and extremely knowledgable. Wish we had more time to make a day trip to Charleston. The internet was out when we arrived but the owner worked diligently to get it restored for us (it wasn't her issue .. Xfinity said that the cable was rusted off in a main box a street over.). Loved the deck .. beautiful sunsets!

We greatly enjoyed our stay in the yellow house. House was very well stocked and the golf cart was great for going to the pool and beach. Communication with the owner was great.

Property was as described. Communication with owner was excellent. Any questions or concerns were responded too very quickly. Great information available in unit to assist in enjoying area.

My family and I stayed for five nights at this beautiful home. The house was very clean and well stocked with all you need to relax and enjoy the beach. The golf cart was a fun way to explore the island and get back and forth from the beach. Our host was most helpful when we decided to extend our stay an extra night. We didn't want to leave!

We had a wonderful stay at the Yellow House! Great communication with owner. Great location for visiting Beaufort, Savannah, Charleston. Property was clean and just as described other than only one golf cart was available during our stay. Plenty of things for the whole family to do in the complex. Would stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay in the low country!! Oyster festival was fun and delicious. Accommodations were great and plenty of space for our family!!

Disappointed

We really enjoyed our stay and loved taking the golf carts out to the beach. We loved going to the state park and the pizza place is great.

We had a lovely stay at the Yellow House. The property is clean, comfortable and cozy with a well stocked kitchen. Communication with our host Melissa, was prompt and courteous. The location is perfect for a multigenerational family~a perfect mix of quiet beach days and evenings, relaxing times at the house and excursions into Beaufort!

This was such a relaxing and much needed break for my family and I. The home was clean, comfortable and fully stocked. The host, Melissa was incredible! The internet was out from a storm and she was in constant communication to get it back on for us. There were plenty of books, games and puzzles to keep us occupied until they were able to restore it. The golf carts were great for a stroll to the private beach and we enjoyed every moment of our vacation! We will definitly come here again! The view of the sunset and wild life from the wrap around porch was breath taking! Thank you again, Melissa, for everything! coagain!!minute of our stay!

The house was clean and well stocked.

The home is in great need of TLC. The outside could use a major cleaning. The inside could also use a deep cleaning. When walking with no shoes on our feet would be black from the floor. The outside needs pressure washing, especially the steps, balcony and concrete. Weeds were overgrown and bushes hung over the driveway.The concrete and steps have been neglected for sometime. One could tell the cleaning service does the bare minimum. The mattresses also need to be replaced. It would also help if the correct size sheets were used. Every night the sheets rolled off bc full size sheets were used on queen beds. I suggest replacing the linens as well. They are faded, some ripped and have an odd mildew smell when they get wet. These are just things to know if you consider booking. I will have to say the owner was very responsive at all times. The check-in and out process was seamless. The pass to the state park was a plus. When owners don’t live near the property, I feel sometimes they don’t realize the disarray of the property. It’s the visitors’ responsibility to let them know. Overall, we enjoyed the week and the house met our needs.
