Great location we walked to all of the restaurants and bars, the bedroom window unit does not cool the bedroom enough would be our only complaint. This place is perfect for an essy trip to Port A.

The toilet kept running. The shower is a real safety hazard. It has no grab bars, its floor is slippery. We are disabled and were afraid we would fall in the shower.

Perfect location for two adults and our dog! This is the second time we have stayed at this property and it fits our needs. Centrally located and decent space. The patio is great for morning coffee and evening reading.

Everything inside was very clean. The porch could use a top to bottom steam cleaning, but that’s not enough to make me not want to stay there again. It is close to everything and I highly recommend it. I was quite comfortable there.

Reviewer Comments: Rental was perfect for the two of us and our mini Yorkie! Stay was great, neighbor hood quite and close to everything. This would have been a 5 star all the way however the screen in patio was dingy, pet hair from way past guest along the screened in wall areas at the floor and the two floor mats on that patio, I had to turn them upside side as not to get it on our pet or our shoes. I would not have been out there bare footed that's for sure. We get charge a pet charge and yet we need to deal with past guest pet hair?

We also love that when renting thru this rental company there was no third party tacking on additional charges. We love Spanish Village cottages and only stay there when we come to Port Aransas twice a year. Also the gift cups left for us with the cottage name and personal welcome sign inside the cottage was a great addition.

Reviewer Comments: Original Vacation Rental suffered damage prior to our arrival, so alternate lodging quickly arranged (Port A Escapes was extremely helpful). Alternate lodging, Casa Mariposa, was not up to par. Repairs needed: a chair on porch is not safe... throws you backwards. Shower is so small/tight with showerhead so high (unable to reach or adjust) so continuously sprayed in face (no way to rinse legs) (suggest replace w/handheld), bedroom entrance is trip hazard the wood gives way and traps your foot (needs repair). Lastly the bedroom fan clicks constantly w/no way to adjust (suggest giving earplugs). Microwave is so high on the wall even my husband had difficulty with use.
