Garden Gate Cottage Downtown Franklin Unit A

Every detail was thought of in this charming cottage to make our stay a perfect one. The host was quick to respond. This cottage is located in a wonderful neighborhood close to downtown Franklin.

The house was just as beautiful as the pictures! Super clean too. Matt was awesome and responded right away to us. We rented both units in the home as we had two families traveling and it was so fun just walking across the front porch to them. The close proximity to downtown and the Factory was great as we just walked places. Would definitely rent these units again.

This was the best VRBO rental I have ever stayed in. It was well supplied with all needs right down to the detergent for the washer/dryer.

This is very much a Southern Charmer! Very well decorated and appointed. It was comfortable, in a quiet neighborhood and felt like home. within walking distance of Historic downtown, short drive to downtown Nashville. I wouldn't change a thing! Next time we're in the area, this is the first property I'll check on.

This cottage is as charming as the pictures, it could not have been any better! Matt responded immediately to all our messages, checking on us during our stay. The location of the house was perfect for walking to the Factory and downtown for restaurants and shopping. Strolling the neighborhood was fun too. This house had an incredible kitchen as well. Even though we didn’t cook while there, it had everything you would need for cooking a big holiday meal if desired. Everything about Garden Gate Cottage was perfect, It’s beautiful, comfortable and feels like home, a wonderful place to share with family and friends.

Beautiful home and location would be happy to come back and rent this home again. Girls weekend in this home is ideal.

Absolutely perfect. The house is even better than any picture could show. The decor is so charming and comfortable. Located in a beautiful neighborhood less than a half mile walk to downtown Franklin. We will definitely be staying here again.

Lovely property and outstanding location!

Property is on a quiet secluded street within a 10 minute walk to downtown Franklin. Very clean and spacious, high ceilings, pretty yard and back covered patio.

This is our second stay at this beautiful property. It is in a great location, easily walkable to the square with all the dining and shopping options. The host, Matt, is attentive to any requests. We will definitely return again!

We really enjoyed our stay here though our visit was too brief. We were very comfortable and were grateful for an ample supply of pillows to choose from. There was also extra bedding for those who needed it. We utilized the sofa as a twin bed. Its single seat cusion was adequate in size for an adult. Someone else mentioned that you will need to bring your own condiments including salt and pepper. They were correct. Reviewers were also correct about not hearing the guests in the other unit though it was occupied at the same time of our stay. If you are someone who likes to sleep with white noise or a fan then you will need to supply your own. We had travel fans so it wasn't a problem for us. I utilized the desk area by the guest room and was grateful for the space to work in when needed. We appreciated that the freezer had an ice maker. We were surprised by the great water pressure. Though the original home is older it lives like a new build. Well done! The home was spotless and smelled so fresh and clean without bothering a sensitive friend's allergies. We used the tea kettle daily and were able to launder our clothes. After traveling cross country for 3 weeks only two places we stayed at offered that amenity Thank you!!! Hope to return next year!

Very nice and comfortable place with a great location to explore the area

Perfect location for a 2 night stay for a conference. Clean, modern, spacious, and had everything we needed. I would def rent again! Matt was easy to work with and provided all the info we needed for the stay.

We loved staying in this cottage. The pictures don’t fully convey the charm of this cottage. It was spotless, easy to navigate, and so comfortable. Cold AC for the hot Tennessee summer! A two minute drive to downtown Franklin or the Farmers market. Modern appliances though we did not cook while on vacation. We look forward to returning in the cooler months.
