Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Galleon's Reach for 5 nights. It is on the Southern end of Sea Ranch. While it was a little inconvenient for the grocery stores and golf course, it opened up lots of new experiences, like a visit to Fort Ross and 2-Fish Bakery. Overall the home was lovely. The living room had lots of couches so everyone could watch TV at once in the evening. The kitchen was very well stocked. The master bedroom and bathroom are especially beautiful. Our only concern was that some of the windows wouldn't open and close properly. Once you got them open, it was very difficult to get them closed. You don't want to open them very far or you have to take off the screen to manually pull the window back in as you crank the handle. As long as you keep the windows open only a little bit, like about 4-6 inches, it was easier, but still problematic for some of the windows (like the window in the upstairs bedroom). Also, not enough of the windows have screens and can be opened. It was a very small and very minor inconvenience, and we would definitely stay at Galleon's Reach again!

Great place great location

Property is well maintained and well stocked. Plenty of public space. In these pandemic times, everything was very clean. Loved the deck and completely fenced in courtyard. Great access to trails. Wifi worked well. Loved the extra wide and comfortable window seats with reading lights. Great supply of games and books. Particularly liked the Sea Ranch books. Great dining room table with seating for 8. Outside grill was a disappointment--old, rusty, and gross. (This is the second time we've stayed at a Sea Ranch place with an unusable grill.) House is well maintained but showing wear--the kitchen cabinets are well used, the pocket doors in the master are difficult to open particularly when they're flush with the door opening, the bathroom in the second bedroom on the first floor was swelled and difficult to open/close. Great place but on the pricey side, probably more so because of COVID-19 and increased demand for driveable destinations.

I highly recommend this property. The location is amazing - you can see the ocean but you also feel secluded. We loved the beaches that were walkable from here. The house is spacious and clean. Very warm / welcoming feeling. Views are gorgeous. The only downside is that you have to drive to Gualala to get the keys which is 10 minutes further north. Seems like they could just leave the key at the property in a lock box or create codes at the property to get in. As it is you drive all the way to Gualala and the keys are just sitting in an unlocked box.

Absolutely love the house. The kitchen was well appointed. I literally didn’t need to bring anything but my food and clothing. Enjoyed 4 glorious days of comfort and relaxation. Sea Ranch Rentals made it very easy!
