Four Seasons Private Suite on Chestnut Ridge in Highlands - Private Club Access

The host was amazing, the property was beautiful and the homemade pumpkin bread was out of this world! Great outdoor space and plenty of space inside to spread out and relax.

The property was exceptional! A hidden gem in the Blue ridge Mountains. The property had all the amenities you could need for a mountain getaway. The property is spacious, has incredible views and all the comforts of a cozy home. I will only comment on the lack of a kitchen. While there is a microwave, sick and a coffee maker, there is no stove so if you’re planning to stay in the mountains and not go into town to dine, this may be a challenge. The property owner was so great at communicating any information about the property and left a mostly lovely pumpkin bread for us to enjoy when we arrived. The deck has exceptional views of the mountains a most welcoming outdoor space. The property is part of a shared home although you have a private entrance and deck. I will most definitely love to visit here again!

This was away from town in a peaceful setting. It was very quiet with a beautiful view. Loved the hammock on the deck.

Difficult to find in the dark! Better signage and reflectors would help a lot. Surprised we were asked to remove linens and place in laundry room at 570 a night rate The dryer was out of service. The view is very nice and the multiple bed rooms would be great for a family.The pumpkin bread left by the owner was spectacular.

Place is really nice. I didn’t notice in the description it just had one bathroom but that is on me . but overall we really enjoyed. would definitely recommend it. Thanks for letting us stay.and the fresh baked pumpkin spice bread was delicious.

Everything was perfect. Magnificent balcony and view. Our hosts were wonderful. There was not much of a kitchen and fridge, but it met our needs and was well equipped. Home was beautiful and in perfect condition. Should be noted there are some semi steep stairs to property that might be difficult with children and older adults. Highly recommend.

Four Seasons fulfilled all that we were attracted to! It is a hidden gem. All amenities met our needs. Our hosts were congenial and always willing to be helpful without intruding on our enjoyment. We arrived from oppressive heat in our FL home to gentle cool fresh air and majestic vistas. It was like being in a tree house with a grand deck complete with hammock. We will be back! We loved their suggestion to dine at On The Verandah. Superb!

The property is lovely and very relaxing. From the time we arrived till we left we enjoyed the cabin and the amenities. The view of off the deck is fantastic.

Had an amazing time with the family on our trip to get a Christmas tree. Played golf at Old Edwards on my birthday, which is an incredible country club. 5 stars. It’s a private club that the owners can provide you access. Toys everywhere for my 3 yr old. Cribs and a high chair for our baby. Antiques and artwork everywhere. Nothing from ikea in this cozy place. All the small details are first class. Comfy bed, great view. Cathy bakes you a fresh loaf of pumpkin bread that is unreal. She is very responsive with all request. Incredible rental, so cozy, so perfect!

Our stay at this property truly exceeded all of our expectations. The bottom level of the property, where you stay, is so beautiful and has so many nice touches. We loved sitting on the porch first thing in the morning and listening to all the sounds of nature while drinking our coffee. We also loved sitting on the porch in the afternoon with a glass of wine and taking in the scenery, squirrel activity in the surrounding trees, and even saw some deer grazing down in the brush below. It was the perfect Fall retreat and was really nice to be up on the mountain. It was easy to get down into town, and all of the shopping and restaurants in Highlands are so perfect. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and can’t say enough good things about what a wonderful host Cathy is. As other reviews mentioned, you’ll love the pumpkin bread, and you really have everything you need here. It’s a luxurious mountain retreat for anyone looking to escape and appreciate nature. We will be back as soon as possible!

We enjoyed our stay here so very much! The expansive porch was so beautiful and peaceful and the view just lovely! We sat in the rocking chairs and had coffee each morning enjoying the fresh air and mountain views. And the pumpkin bread our hostess provided was delicious!! Great location for a short drive to town. The house was decorated beautifully with great detail. You truly feel welcomed when you open the door. The large deck was great as well as the view. One thing I noticed in particular, on the back deck is super quiet and peaceful. The king sized bed was super comfortable, but to be honest I would sleep outside for another loaf of that homemade pumpkin bread. What a wonderful relaxing place!

This rental is really a lovely place to stay! The drive through horse cove is beautiful! It’s the lower level of their home. Very quiet and Large area, decorated and cozy. View was amazing.suggestion in the driving directions be sure to stay to the right and not go up the hill Beds were soo comfortable, great sheets. The kitchen is small but very well equipped Loved the banana bread, delicious

We stayed for four nights with our two young children. The property was clean, comfortable and so relaxing. There were lots of games at the house to which we enjoyed playing in the mornings and evenings on the porch. It was so nice to have the option to use the old Edwards club. Cathy was the most wonderful host you could ask for and was super responsive and accommodating to all our questions and requests (and she was out of the country!) We highly recommend staying here!
