Flo’s Hideaway in the Heart of Thunderbolt just outside Savannah city limits

This place was perfect for our stay. Very clean, the host lived next door, very quiet neighborhood, was close to most of the places we wanted to go. Everything was great!!!

This place was perfect! Extremely clean, beautifully decorated, open yet cozy spaces. The layout was awesome . We immediately felt right at home. I especially loved the master bedroom and walk in closet . The location was perfect to visit my mom on Wilmington island and very close to Witmarsh island..there is a very cool restaurant on the block to which you can walk for an easy yet delicious meal. This place is a 10/10 and price was great! Thank you Flo!

This hideaway was beautifully maintained with everything we needed. The notebook provided by Cindy was very helpful in planning our Savannah and Tybee Island adventures. Also, the easy access to attractions was a real plus. We highly recommend this property and plan to visit the area again and use Flo’s Hideway as our home away from home.

The property owners were awesome! The location was perfect. We love the east side of Savannah as it's close to downtown, area shopping and Tybee Island.

All one level my mom uses a walker. Maybe could have had one walk in shower. Needed an extra tv in the guest bedroom my mom watches tv in the bed. Also needed directions to work the streaming on the tv.

A comfortable stay in the perfect location! The host was friendly and accommodating, making everything easy. I look forward to booking here again.

The house is quite comfortable and the layout is nice. It has comfy beds and its location is really good. You can walk to Bonaventure Cemetery about a mile away. The only thing that I would want to change is : 1. the coffeemaker was dirty and I had to clean it out; 2. the A/C could barely keep up with the 90degree heat in Thunderbolt while we were there; and 3. Although the house has an inline-continuous hot water heater, the valves in the showers need replacing. We had trouble in both showers with keeping the temperature stable enough to not burn us or freeze us out. These are all pretty easy fixes, so I'd stay again. The hosts are quite friendly and accommodated us nicely with our motorcycles and trailer.

This is a smaller, older house on a quiet street. The house is located on the end of the street beside a four-way stop.I loved the way the house is decorated. All of the furniture and furnishings are in a boho style which I enjoyed very much.The location of the home is in a small, quaint town within close proximity to Savannah GA.

The exterior is misleading as you pull up... doesn't look big, but once inside the house has much more living space than you realize. Thoroughly enjoyed the eclectic look... mismatched nightstands etc... very warm, comfortable, and inviting stay.The owners were friendly, accommodating, and attentive. I will definitely be staying here again.

Quiet location, with a short walk to a local park where you can fish off the pier and the kids can play. Great check-in process . Very clean. Host's were very attentive. Great location.

Enjoyed our visit to Savannah in part due to the excellent location of this rental. Good walking neighborhood if bringing a pet. House is spacious and offers what you need for sure. Especially the common living space which provides a comfortable gathering area for guests. Some deferred maintenance detracts from its potential but everything functions as it should.

This is the second time we have stayed here. The location is close to everything and the house is so cute. Would definitely recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay at Flo's Hideaway! Such a cozy place filled w/charm, clean and as advertised, and it's in a great location...not too far from downtown and with tons to do around it, and we never felt unsafe. Our host was great, they were communicative and made sure we had a warm welcome. We would love to stay here again next time we're in Savannah!

Charming, clean and comfortable.We had a small issue when we first arrived, but our host Cyndy was quick to respond and help us resolve the issue! Within walking distance of two great local restaurants, Chiriya’s Thai Cuisine And just across the street Finches Sandwiches & Sundries great sandwiches and drinks. Oh, and fetches also does cemetery tours. We didn’t have time but give it a go next time.Thanks for hosting us!We recommend and would stay here again!

What an excellent, cozy, clean, & convenient place to stay in Thunderbolt/Savannah! The hosts were outstanding: left clear instructions, were very communicative, & friendly. The house was comfortable & the neighborhood was outstanding in every regard. The beds were just right. The kitchen was well-stocked and easy to work in. Highlights: easy walk to the park & pier at the end of the road, sweet little restaurant RIGHT next door, & one of the best antique shops in town barely a 1/2 block away. So many excellent places to eat in a very short distance. Easy access to downtown, Isle of Hope, & Tybee. Will definitely stay at Flo's again.

Awesome host and a nice clean place to stay

It’s actually more spacious than it looks in the pictures and overall it looked and felt clean aside from a roach that decided to come out on our check out morning. The main bed was a little too soft but that is probably just personal preference. Only other feedback is that the entrance to the house is sandy without pavers so we drug that into the house.

We were very pleased to find out that the VRBO was close to most things we wanted to do. The cottage was very nice. Kitchen needs a few items like some rubber spatulas and fresh black pepper. Overall, it was comfortable and appreciated.

Such a nice home to stay in! The house had what we needed for our comfort! I found 3 little glass duck “Easter Eggs”. Would definitely come back here! Finch’s across the street had a great atmosphere. A short walk too us to a fishing pier where we met friendly people fishing and crabbing!

It was too short!! only negative was the truck/vehicle passing by repeatedly. Its loud grinding sound awakened us each time it passed. Tho’ annoying, this is no reflection on this wonderful property n

We had a great stay! The owners were very responsive. The home was clean and spacious. We loved that it was very pet friendly as well! Our only recommendation would be to add a TV on the secondary bedroom. We would definitely stay again!

Cute place. Loved the neighborhood! Perfectly located halfway between Tybee Island and historic Savannah.

Everything was excellent. The owners made check in super easy, and made sure they were available if we needed them. The house was very clean and comfortable.

The location was very convenient to Savannah and Tybee Island! We could get around very easily and there are really good local restaurants nearby. Property was very cute, comfortable and plenty of room. We would definitely stay there again.

The home itself is stunning! The layout is perfect and the place is very spacious. I appreciate the location. It is not in a busy area and even has a cute cafe right next door! Lance & Cindy are incredible hosts. Super accomodating and communicative. If I do return, I would adore staying here again. Phenomenal!

Loved it. In a quiet neighborhood and close to grocery stores and such. Quite close to everything we wanted to do in Savannah. The house was very clean. No complaints at all. It was nice to have hosts right next door in case we had any questions about anything.

Very clean and a great location - only about 15 minutes from the residence to parking in downtown Savannah but there are great options for food in the immediate area.

It was very comfortable and quiet. Had a lovely family visit and a relaxing time. Comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. Owners very accommodating when we had to extend checkout time. Would stay again.

Lovely quiet neighborhood with adorable charming eatery next-door. Situated and convenient location to Tybee Island, and downtown Savannah. It was very comforting to have the owner next-door and was very helpful and caring. Highly recommend this property.
