Fantastic Oceanfront Get Away With Awesome Views.

This property was even better than advertised and super relaxing.

House is amazing! This was our second staying here and have nothing but great things to say. View can't be beat. House is super clean and has everything you could need. Very nice new flooring since we last rented that isn't shown in the pictures. The beds are very comfortable and perfectly firm! We appreciate all the thoughtful extras provided: night lights, pump hand soap, body wash, shampoo, laundry detergent, beach towels, sunscreen, bug spray. The list goes on and on. Hope to be back again soon!

The property was perfect. The VIEW was exactly what my family needed along with the slower pace of the city. It was a perfect spot to explore the breath-taking Redwood National Forest. The house was nicely equipped and roomy enough for my family of 5 (which includes 3 college aged kids). We wish we had more days here. The master bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever had outside my own home. The kitchen was well equipped, and the family (TV) room was big enough where we could all lounge and watch a movie at night. Schmidt's House of Jambalaya was a hidden gem - Best jambalaya. The SeaFront Baking Co was fabulous too. Everything was super clean and communication with the host was easy.

This was our 4th visit and won’t be the last!

Everything about this house was wonderful. A family of 4 including two children plus Grandparents. We mostly cook our own food because of allergies so the kitchen is important and this kitchen met all our needs. There are plenty of options for sleeping. The views of the coastline could not be beat! Our pictures have inspired other family members to head to Northern California.

Ocean view from every room on West side of house. Large main rooms to accommodate several people. Kitchen very large and functional. Linens were fresh, refrigerator very clean. Nice dining table for 6-8.

The view was breathtaking!!! We love hearing the waves during the night. The location was perfect for the Redwoods. We would definitely stay here again!

This is a great house with a view that will amaze. You are up on a cliff but can access the beach a 2 minute walk down the street. The home was clean and pleasant with plenty of extras to make mealtimes easy and hanging out cozy. We visited in February and enjoyed every moment.

No pictures stretching anything here, it is even better than the pictures. House was clean and furniture very comfortable to relax in, beds good and view was fantastic. We didn't cook so can't comment on that but looked like good for it. Didn't need to contact Leslie the host, all instructions were well and timely communicated, thank you.

The house is exactly as described and pictured. Its like a ranch house (main floor with kitchen, living room, full bath, washroom, and bedroom) with a large bedroom/bathroom/work space as the whole second floor. Lots of room. We used it as a home base for hiking in Redwood. The deck has a small picnic table for two people to enjoy a snack and drink -- it was our favorite spot to enjoy the ocean. You really can't beat the view! Check in and out was very easy. There is no direct beach access from the house (which I liked) but a short walk brings you to the beach below the house. Looking up the tide schedule will help you follow the changing shorline and enjoy the rocky view even more.

We had an absolutely wonderful time, Aug 12 - 15, 2025. It's a beautiful beachfront home that is clean, spacious, well-equipped, and welcoming. There is a large master bedroom upstairs and a smaller one downstairs. We were a party of 4, so that was perfect. There is additional sleeping space with air mattresses and perhaps a pull-out couch, which we didn't use. Far better than staying at any of the few hotels in town. It was a great base to visit any of the Redwood parks. Attached is a view from the balcony one evening. The owners placed a log book in the home for visitors to note their reactions and they were uniformly positive and glowing. Thank you!

A lot of times listings will not quite be the same as the pictures. But I gotta say, these pictures are exactly what you get and it was fantastic.

Great place!

This is a big, clean beautiful home with unbelievable views. Worth every penny to spend a few nights or a summer here. This is right on the ocean and you can enjoy the sights and sounds. The home is very comfortable and has everything needed, games, deck chairs and table and a well supplied kitchen. It’s obviously close to beaches and parks if you like outdoor activities. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would stay again.

Going out and exploring the redwoods and coming back to this place to eat and sleep was perfect. Amazing trip best in our lifetime

This property has everything you want for a comfortable stay and just incredible views of the coast. The pictures in the listing don't do it justice! The main floor deck was a perfect spot for relaxing in sight and sound of the ocean. The property was also much more spacious than the listing suggested. There was plenty of room for us to spread out when we wanted to. The property's kitchen was very well equipped.The location was ideal. On the ocean, just on the edge of Crescent City which has a lot of popular restaurants, and within short driving distance of the various Redwood parks.We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

We had a great stay while visiting Redwoods National Park and the area. The house had anazing ocean views and was well stocked for a family stay. We loved our time there and would highly recommend it to others.

We were pleasantly surprised how wonderful this house was. The location was great and the views were amazing! We spent the days hiking the Redwoods and the evenings relaxing on the deck, barbecuing, watching the wildlife and the amazing sunsets. This was a perfect getaway to celebrate a 60th birthday!

The view/location is definitely the highlight of this house! The back part of the house, the side facing the ocean, is mostly large windows and the views are incredible! We came to Crescent City to see the Redwoods but this house is a destination in itself. Every night we slept with the windows cracked so that we could hear the waves. It was a great soundtrack for sleeping.The redwoods and the smith river are super close. It's also close to grocery stores, restaurants, and anything else you may need. Pebble Beach was just a couple minutes away and my kids had a blast exploring it. We spent hours there on multiple days.Regarding the interior of the house…The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook. There were plenty of pillows and blankets, though we wished there had been a twin sheet set for the pull out bed.The master bedroom was amazing. It had the best view. We even saw an osprey eating a fish on a tree branch right outside the window (twice!). It's the only room on the 2nd level, but just FYI, there is not a door to it. The stairs that go up to the bedroom turn, so there is still privacy. Just not with a door. I would definitely recommend staying here. You just can't beat the views and the location. We hope to come back to see the Redwoods again in a few years and we would stay here again. Already recommending this location to all of my friends and family.

We all walked in, looked out the wall of windows and said “Wow”. We came to explore the redwood forest, but loved our experience at the house just as much! And while the view is outstanding, the house itself is equally clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Possibly the best supplied kitchen of any rental I’ve experienced. My teens loved walking down to check out the tide pools and we all enjoyed the provided games and books. It’s well worth staying a day or two or five!

Amazing ocean views. Older property with some nice upgrades. Property was clean, but there was a strong cat odor. We had to leave the slider and windows open to air out.

This house was amazing. The weather wasn’t great but it made the stay that much more enjoyable. The ocean was so soothing. Definitely will be staying again.

Spacious two bedroom house with large upstairs master suite. Well equipped kitchen with condiments in fridge and spices/oils in cabinets. Comfortable MBR bed and LR couch. And of course the ocean views are extraordinary!

We absolutely loved our stay. House was strategically located to the Redwood National forest and breath taking views of the coast out you windows. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay connected the outdoors but with contrasting yet connected biomes. A must stay. Would advise all adventurers and site seekers. House was great and very relaxing.

We had a spectacular time in the home. Everything was nice and clean! The large kitchen had pretty much anything we needed to prepare meals and the view was AMAZING!!! There was so much room to spread out and just relax watching amazing sunsets! We really loved the front flowerbeds as well. The only issue we encountered was that the washer was pretty noisy and the lights in the house dim and blink when the washer is running. We would love to come back again and enjoy this great home while exploring more of the redwoods and the town! our meals
