Everything else was more than expected. The house was well stocked with wash towels, pillows, just about every kitchen utensil you can think of, very nice Frig, X-Finity TV, fireplace, hot tub, grill, etc. Enough beds to sleep several people, and parking for 4 vehicles. Ice melt, which came in handy as it snowed while we were there. 4 different bathrooms. Also spoke with I believe the owners about a last minute addition we needed and they were very corgial, and helped us with anything we needed. Staying here and riding the Christmas Georgetown Loop was a present to our kids and grand kids and we all had a great experience.
Loved this house, it’s history and location. Traveled with two of our daughters and their families for a huge family wedding in Idaho Springs. Loved that each family had its own bath and privacy. Kitchen was well equipped and we cooked all our meals. Would highly recommended this home for a true experience of the 1800’s.
The house was great for hanging with family and friends. Easy access to downtown Georgetown (walking and driving).
This was such a cute mountain home. We really liked the location. The house is definitely older, but it was clean and nice. Having a hot tub was definitely a nice bonus!
Our family really enjoyed our stay there!
This was one of the best stocked homes I’ve ever stayed in! The little touches were so thoughtful! We loved the front porch! Ginny was a gracious host!
Great hosts! Loved all the small touches! House very well stocked!
Beautiful home, plenty of room for family fun. Very well taken care of nice and clean and has all items needed so you don't have to lug supplies around with you.
Place had lots of pillows, towels, and blankets that were very helpful. Property managers were responsive to our needs.
Great hosts! Loved the added touches!!!! Very well stocked house!!
Wonderful beautiful property, plenty of room for family and friends.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room and just a welcoming feeling. Hot tub was great after skiing at Loveland. With all the spices, condiments, pantry food, coffee, wine, beer and chocolates it was like the owners just stepped out and let us in. Beautiful old historic home with so much character. Thought it would be drafty but very warm. We will be back. The MacNaughton family
A group of 6 friends stayed here for the weekend. The house is beautiful! We were concerned that an older house might be a bit drafty in the winter, but we were warm and cozy the whole weekend. The wood burning fireplace was a very nice feature. Kitchen is well stocked. Beds were comfortable with memory foam mattresses. And the hot tub was perfect! Our only regret is that it wasn’t warm enough to be able to enjoy the large front porch and other outdoor areas. We may have to come back in warmer weather.
We had a wonderful time staying in this home. The kitchen was a good size and well stocked with more than enough cookware and serve ware. We loved the living area with the large wood burning fireplace. The bedrooms were very comfortable. The hot tub was wonderful! We were all very happy to find that this home was very well insulated. Our trip was on a very cold winter weekend, and yet this beautiful old house was warm and cozy. We’d love to stay here again in the warmer weather, so we can enjoy the large, inviting porch.
We had a great experience. The house is Close to everything in town. It is very well supplied and we all enjoyed reconnecting after 10 years.
Great place to get away
We stayed in Georgetown for a family wedding. The Loop house was a great base of operation! The home has everything you’d ever need. Well thought out, a lot of space, great porch and deck. We would rent again !!
