Family Friendly 2-Bed Home, Pet Friendly

Lower level of a large old home so expect to hear those upstairs. Two nice-sized bedrooms with baths and an area great for a kid or two to sleep BUT I have to say this place needed a good cleaning. There were some nice touches that were family friendly but the floors were in rough shape with obvious patching which I could overlook if they had been clean but there were obvious spills from prior occupants. The shower floor in one of the bedrooms also looked pretty nasty. It just overall needed a really good cleaning and new floors.

Parking was fine. The apt was perfect. The small amenities were perfect. Just fyi there were quite a few ants in the master bath

Amazing location in the SW Historic District of Roanoke. Downtown only a 3 min drive. Parking avaliable on the street outside property.The property could use some TLC. Master King bedroom blanket covered in pet hair, dust bunnies and dust under TV. This Bathroom looked like it had not been cleaned after previous quests, with soap water streaks on mirror and faucet. Window frame dirty, towel rack dirty. There are many little.good points about the property, its cute and works for a perfect weekend getaway, but needs a deep clean to bring up to par with many other proporties we've stayed in.

We had a wonderful stay at this VRBO with our family and young children! The home was very clean, exactly as described, and made for a comfortable and relaxing trip. One of the best parts was how family-friendly it was—there were plenty of kid items available to use, which was incredibly convenient and made traveling with little ones so much easier.Everything we needed was provided, and we felt right at home. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this rental to other families!

Comfortable, clean apartment with spacious, well- equipped kitchen.

We had a great stay and would definitely come back. The apartment was extremely clean and well maintained, which made it feel comfortable right away. Check-in was super easy and seamless, and everything was clearly communicated.We also really appreciated all the little extras throughout the apartment. It had everything we needed and more, which made the space feel very cozy and thoughtfully put together.Even though it didn’t apply to us, it’s clearly very pet friendly and also great for families with young kids or babies, which is a huge plus.Overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable experience from start to finish.

Spacious, close distance to restaurants, some places are walkable, short drive to coffee shops. Easy check in & out. Only a few steps to front door and handrail available.

It was good. We had a minor power outage during our stay but out of the owners control. Definitely worth the money. Cute place!

We booked this rental for a last-minute weekend away.Great location: close to downtown, Mill Mountain, and Grandin Village; could see the Star from the front yard; neighborhood felt safe; easy street parkingPet-friendly, including food/water dishesHelpful host: allowed us to check in a little early; provided a list of favorite restaurants; included thoughtful touches like wireless chargers on each nightstand, toiletries, board games, jigsaw puzzles, books, plentiful coffee pods, and a basket of snacks; light switches were labeled with their functionsUpkeep could be improved: logs from a felled tree in front yard, rickety front railing, multiple lightbulbs out, dog poop and bread crusts in side yard, many dead bugs in overhead light fixture, curtain hardware without curtains, visibly dirty shower curtain, bathroom window that wouldn’t fully close/lock, shabby DIY fire pit Noise: I don’t think anyone stayed in the unit above ours while we were there, but it looked like someone was there doing work on the unit. Their footsteps were very audible when they were there.All in all, this property met our needs and was in reasonable condition for the price.

Everything was clean and very nice. Lots of extras provided, including coffee and a Christmas tree!

My family and I came down from Indiana for extended family Thanksgiving. The house was great. More then enough room for us and in a great neighborhood.

The house was perfect. Our pups loved the space and the fact that it was a quick walk to a ton of local experiences was great. The host was quick to respond to an issue.

The property was exactly as listed with all amenities provided. Very nice for a small family or 2 couples. Within walking distance of most downtown activities and restaurants.

Remington was very responsive to our communications. Enjoyable stay and close to our venues downtown.

If you value cleanliness, you don't want to stay here. Also had to ask about access instruction. Multiple remotes did not work. Water/Ice dispenser did not work. Beds had been slept in, and sheets were soiled! Not a good experience.

The property was on a quiet street in a great location. Walkable to downtown and just a few minutes drive to Black Dog Salvage and other attractions. Street parking was easy and plentiful. I have never given a negative Review and I don’t take this lightly. The unit was however one of the most unclean place I have ever stayed. Piles of debris and hair and insects in corners; toilet tank and base clearly hadn’t been wiped in quite a while, the kitchen appliances were greasy, trash visible behind the couch. 2 of the 3 TVs did not work and the were no checkout instructions listed on the VRBO website or inside the unit. Again, lovely house, great location but it needs a good professional cleaning.

Cleanish. Loud party upstairs on Saturday night. Location is nice. Sink spelled. Batteries in all the remotes were dead. My daughter liked the chalkboard.

Everything was perfect.

The accommodations were excellent. They did not miss a beat. Toilettes, laundry, fully stocked kitchen. The neighborhood was great. A short walk to downtown. Plenty of parking. We enjoyed evenings on the balcony and playing games in the living room. Would absolutely come back.
