The house is beautiful - very spacious and comfortable. The back patio area is also lovely. The owner is very responsive. We had a great stay and highly recommend this property.

We stayed with two adults, two toddlers, and one grandparent. This house is fully stocked with everything you need and has a beautiful yard and playground for kids. It's the perfect family house. While it does border the highway, the noise isn't too bad and the overall location is great. Able to walk 15 mins into town if you want (although pack sneakers, it's an uphill hike on the way back) and within a short driving distance to everything. We hope to come again soon and make this a regular stay!

Very nice and clean property. Amazing yard that is great for families. Well stocked and well maintained. Great location. The property does border highway 1 so there is some road noise outside. Inside is relatively quiet when the windows are closed.

Beautiful house roomy, clean, awesome backyard with hot tub putting hole, patio and fire pit. Kitchen was set up to cook in which we appreciated and used. Could use more and better pillows .

Easy to cook breakfast each day, enjoy the spa each night and comfortable living room. Has updated living space since pictures taken, so that was a pleasant surprise!

Everything was warm and comfortable. It was a lovely place to spend my milestone birthday. We will book again when we can.

We loved staying at the property. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked, the linens and beds were very comfortable, and the house was a lovely place to spend my mother-in-law's birthday. The location is close to everything in the area and we would 100% stay again. However, I do want to mention a couple of things that haven't appeared in any of the other reviews: First, the property is quite close to the highway, so sleeping with your window open really isn't possible. Second, cameras are all over the property's exterior, including pointing directly at the hot tub. This was slightly uncomfortable because we wondered who might be watching us have an innocuous soak. I guess I could see a scenario where they're worried about parties or loud hot tub sessions but in that case, maybe put the camera further away?

This is our 3rd time staying at this property and it never disappoints. Definitely coming back.

The property is lovely, and it is extremely close to downtown Carmel. The interior of the house is very nice, but somewhat dated. The property was very clean, and there were no problems in communicating with the host, or getting into the property. It does not have A/C if you are accustomed to having it. We were there during a very hot time of year, but found it tolerable with all the fans running. Of course, it is much cooler at night. The washer and dryer were not great, but working. We really didn't have time to use some of the amenities, such as the hot tub, or even TV's. The gate was not working so had to be done manually, if you want to use it. The outside lighting was great, and helped with security. It is close to a main road, so traffic woke us up the first morning since we had to open the windows that night. We didn't feel quite as secure with open windows, but that is only a problem if you're there during warmer months of the year. Entrance into the property was super easy and the driveway very nice. Lots of beautiful shrubbery and flowers surround the property. There is also a nice play area for young children.

Host was super accommodating and responsive. Putting green, hot tub, built-in barbecue, and play area -- this property has something for everyone. Would definitely stay here again!

Great option in Carmel by the sea about 15 min walk to main area. Super clean, comfortable, and epic backyard for kids. Highly recommend!

Our second visit, and the place was even nicer than the first visit. Great location and very comfortable & well stocked. Our daughter loved the play center with swings and slides out back!

This house was perfect for 6 women taking a few days away from our husbands and enjoying the beauty of Carmel and surrounding areas. The rooms were spacious, the kitchen was great to cook in and the beds were super comfortable. We would definitely return to this house!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Richard’s home! He made it extremely easy to check-in and access all instructions. House was spotless and well-kept. Excellent area very close to everything around town. Highway noise not too loud either. Loved the hot tub, big driveway, and open living room. Lots of room for all 6 of us. We hope to return to this home again soon!

The house was great, 4 min drive to all the shops and restaurants in Carmel. 12 minutes to Monterey. We had no issues, the home was clean and perfect for our group.

Lovely home within easy walking distance of downtown Carmel and quick drive to grocery store. Charming, quiet neighborhood. Back porch was wonderful and the hot tub was very clean and the perfect temperature.

We just spent a week at this lovely home. The location was perfect, close to everything we wanted to do in the Carmel and Monterey area. There was plenty of space for our group of 7 people that included teenagers and grandparents! The house had everything we needed to be comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped and stocked, which made making meals easy. The outside area was absolutely phenomenal, the hot tub, mini golf area, fire pit and BBQ were all used frequently by our group. This house made our family vacation absolutely perfect!

This is our third year in a row staying at this house. We love the location and the privacy. The backyard is beautiful and the hot tub is a huge added bonus. We can’t wait to come back next year.

This was a wonderful experience. We were in town for my daughter’s wedding. We had the rehearsal dinner at the property. The kids loved the playground! The entire backyard was perfect for all ages. The house is warm and inviting! We would definitely stay there again!
