Wonderful property…will definitely use again!

Beautiful home. Excellent communication. No complaints at all

The property owner was very gracious. We could tell that she had actually lived in the apartment; it was delightfully furnished. She went above and beyond for us, allowing us to leave our luggage before check-in, providing fruit and other light food items, and more. The bedding was top-quality. Everything was very clean. There were six women ranging from 27 to 66 (all family) on a girl's trip. We LOVED staying here!

This was our third stay at this apartment and we think it’s wonderful. The location is brilliant, on the doorstep of Edinburgh’s best cultural heritage and shopping. There are some great independent restaurants locally too and you’ll find some gems just by wandering around the lovely streets of New Town. The apartment itself reflects an elegant Georgian past and the interiors are sympathetic to the period. It’s extremely comfortable and the owners are excellent hosts.

Let us know on arrival that oven didn't work and would be replaced. Due to inability of workers related to oven, was not replaced until after we left. They did provide us with a toaster oven.

I cannot accurately put into words how amazing the entire experience was in Edinburgh. This property was divine and more than worth the price. The views and accessibility to every area that we wanted to explore made it an unforgettable trip!!!

If you are thinking of a family holiday, look no further than this extraordinary property. Our family of 9 including a 15 year old had the best time; being able to sit around in the morning or after our day sharing our experiences was priceless. The 15 year old had private loft space which he thoroughly enjoyed. My only advice is that there are 51 steps to get into the apartment so if you have heavy luggage it could be problematic. I would come back tomorrow.

We all loved the house in Edinburgh

We loved the beautiful home. It was decorated with lovely antiques. All the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed and we were happy to use it. Agnes met us and allowed us to check in a few hours early because our flight was before the normal check in time. She gave us advice that was very helpful. We were surprised at the perfect location a short walk from the royal mile, near restaurant options. We didn't need a car for the first two days, but rented one for the third day when we drove out of town. Parking overnight was easier than we thought. There were several parking places in front of the house on the street. After 8:30 a.m. parking is very expensive so we left at that time. There was only one problem with the listing. It said that there were five king beds with ensuite bathrooms. In fact, there are three king beds, one queen bed, and two double beds. All the rooms are beautiful with ensuite bathrooms which we loved! We all were delighted with the house and with our experience in Edinburgh.

What we needed: a large rental to accommodate friends and family staying with us during our daughter’s Edinburgh wedding weekend (17 May 2025). What we got: a spectacular home with lovely shared spaces and well-appointed bedrooms and en suites. During this busy weekend, we were so thankful that this home had every amenity: a well-stocked kitchen, toiletries in the bathrooms, games and books, hair dryers, several dining/game tables, and a washer/dryer, to name a few. A beautiful vase of flowers greeted us on arrival, plus a fridge stocked with essentials for breakfast. Its location in New Town was perfect for us and there are many great restaurants and pubs nearby. We can’t say enough good things about this beautiful home and how comfortable we were during our stay. Many thanks to our wonderful hosts!

Gorgeous property in excellent central location. 6 colleagues had comfort and privacy and we were left with plenty of thoughtful extras on our stay including fruit, wine and Scottish shortbread

This apartment was the perfect base for our 5-day stay in Edinburgh. We were four couples and two children and everyone had their own space. Location is central in New Town with shops, restaurants, attractions and public transportation in walking distance, but just far enough off the beaten path for limited traffic. Although we were prepared with the beautiful pictures in the listing, we were wowed upon arrival! The amenities made for a comfortable and easy stay, even when the rain kept us indoors. Communication was prompt and professional, and the tour and instructions at check-in were clear and helpful. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us!

Wonderful home and location. Perfect place for large family stay.

Great property, but we didn’t anticipate as many stairs with all of our luggage and golf clubs. Whew! The property was clean and has great staples for cooking (the pantry is in the entry hallway-discovered it on the last day.) The beds were comfortable with the exception of the bed at the top floor which is supported with books. It was great to have bathrooms for every bedroom. The owners left us a beautiful fruit basket and a nice bottle of red wine! This house really worked for our family stay.

Just as beautiful and comfortable as it looks. We were a family group of 13 people ranging in age from 7 to 75 and everyone loved it. Perfect for a family reunion. On arrival we were greeted with a wonderful fruit basket and snacks. Communicate with the host was clear and easy. Plenty of restaurants close by. We would definitely do this again. One note - there are a lot of stairs to reach this home.

While on vacation, we enjoy staying in houses in order to enjoy more family time. This certainly filled the bill and did not disappoint. The house truly feels like a home. Beautifully and uniquely decorated. Comfy beddings. Communications with the owner were excellent and timely. Location ideal for visiting The Royal Mile, very close to restaurants and shops. All in all, a fabulous place to stay, if I could score higher than a 5, I would.

Wow, what a beautiful townhouse right in the heart of Edinburgh and within walking distance of Princes Street, Rose Street and George Street. An amazing, beautifully kept, cosy home away from home offering 6 stunning bedrooms all with their own bathrooms and an excellent choice if travelling in a group or large family.
