A.M.A.Z.I.N.G! This house was just incredible. Yeah it’s a bit daggy in places, but it was absolutely perfect for our family group of 11 ranging in age from 11yo - 75yo. A full commercial kitchen with every possible cookware, gadget, crockery, cutlery, glassware, appliance - BYO groceries and you’re set. So many activities for all incl pool, heated spa, darts, pool table, lounge areas, bar, even your own beach and koalas in the gum trees! This house made our KI holiday absolutely unforgettable! 5stars, totally recommend!

I booked this house in the first week of school holidays for my children and their families to stay. A big family holiday. House is brilliant and provided an amazing entertaining areas that work well for large groups. Craig the groundsman is very helpful and met us when we arrived, gave a tour of the house, telling us how things worked etc. He also came back to help when phoned, topped up the wood for indoor fire when it turned cold and other little things that made the whole experience fabulous. He is a great source of information and went out of his way to make the stay enjoyable. Highly recommend this house.

The large house was ideal for our group of 12. Both inside and outside there were plenty of separate areas for small groups to enjoy. The huge inside dining table and several others on the deck provided for great family get togethers at meal times. All bedrooms having ensuites made for easy living. The swimming pool, spa, sauna and 8 ball table were all well utilised. Craig the caretaker came every second day to check that the spa chemicals were operating correctly. Some of the equipment in the commercial kitchen (particularly the knives) need upgrading. Overall a wonderful setting for our family holiday on Kangaroo Island.

Our stay was really great. The caretaker, Craig went out of his way to make sure that all 16 of us were comfortable and had what we needed. Unfortunately for us and Craig, our stay was right in the middle of much needed renovations. He explained that painting and other renovations had started the month previous to our stay but the house was as clean and comfortable as he could make it for us. It’s a beautiful property and I hope he is able to make the changes necessary to bring it up to its potential. The Greens

The property is amazing and unique.The size and location is fantastic, particularly for a large group. Craig was really helpful and easy to deal with. We did find a number of factors disappointing. This includes - the kitchen. The large dishwasher was broken, the small one is not installed correctly meaning the top shelf kept rolling forward when it was open - kitchen items were everywhere. Nothing made sense, cutlery in 2 different places - there was clothing in the laundry on arrival. For the price of the house we felt the property should have a clothes dryer - the water system in the house was shocking. Every shower in every bathroom was awful due to difficulty getting the water temperature right. The main bathroom has mould on the ceiling and the second sink had no taps. The working sink had no hot water to it - considering the price of the property it was shocking to find the pool was unheated - the worst part was the fact we were charged a significant amount for fold out couches in a main living area. On arrival Craig had not been told we had additional guests so no additional beds were made and it was clear immediately that the fold out lounges were not going to be suitable for the children due to their location. Craig brought over his own mattresses for us to use in the theatre room. We really think the cost we paid for mattresses on the floor is unreasonable. - The property is advertised to hold 20 people, we were told children are not normally allowed so would be charged at adult prices, yet there is a room specifically set up for children - the property is very tired and dated. Not something you expect when you are paying top price This feedback was provided to the property owner with no response

This house is incredible. Clean and spacious. Everything you need for a relaxing, tranquil holiday. Only drawback was no ceiling fans on deck and pool/yard area was very tired and in need of some maintenance. I understand some upgrades are taking place in the near future which will address this. Looking forward to coming back.

Perfect for 6 couples getaway for 5 nights. Such a spacious home well equipped. Amazing water views

Fabulous place to stay with a group, very spacious and accommodative. Just needs to have the mattresses in all rooms upgraded as they are tired with no give. The board games need upgrading as some are just a mess with parts missing or not complete. The darts also need replacing as they come apart when throwing. Pavers sharp and uneven in parts around pool edge, could do with some pool toys. Other than that had a great and fun time.
