Expansive dog-friendly home w/ golf course views, and nearby resort amenities

Perfect home for a large group of people. Excellent location and within walking distance of the Lodge! Very clean and beautifully designed! All kitchen necessities available.

We were celebrating our 60th anniversary with our family and this home was absolutely perfect for this occasion. The bedrooms accommodated our guests and the kitchen provided everything we needed

We booked this home expecting a fully functioning kitchen, which was essential for our group. Unfortunately, upon arrival we discovered the oven did not work. After spending hours on the phone with the property management company, they finally admitted that they were aware of the issue before our stay and had scheduled a repair for after our departure. This lack of transparency was extremely disappointing.We had brought groceries and planned meals that required an oven, but instead we were forced to eat out and throw away food—costing us significant additional money and inconvenience. For a large home advertised to host big groups, a working oven is not a luxury, it’s a NECESSITY.This experience left us very frustrated, and we feel guests should be informed in advance about any major issues that impact their stay.

Our home was beautiful. Disappointed no firewood or cooking sticks we’re available. Upper level would not get cool with the rest of the house.

Great home for a large family like ours. It is also in a great location, easy walk for golf, eating, to the coffee house and everything else the Crystal Mountain has to offer.

Great house. A lot of room for our group of 9. The sun room was great for sitting “outside” without having to worry about fighting off mosquitos. There is also dual zone hvac, which is important if people are going to be sleeping in the basement bedrooms.

Great backyard, situated on a golf course with a fire pit and ample room. We made the most of our short stay. Played a couple of rounds of golf, went to the pool/restaurants, all within walking distance of this beautiful cottage. 10/10 recommend.

Uniquely situated on a golf course, this place had everything. Plenty of room to sleep, a large backyard with a fireplace, and close access to the town/pool. We would 100% come back.

House was a great place for our family. Rooms were clean and comfortable. They had everything we needed for our 4 day/ 3 night stay. Adults were able to do our own thing and kids were able to hang out in the basement.

Great home for our multi-generational family (from late 80's to babies) of 14 for an early summer visit. Clean and comfortable. We hope to be back soon.

Clean, spacious property that worked fairly well for our multi-generational family vacation (11adults and two kids). Two minor issues. 1-from photos thought the first floor bed/bath would work for 88yo parents but bed was so high they could not climb in it. 2-several amenities at resort closed all week due to an event (the walking trails, alpine slide, etc). Would have been nice to know that.

Buckaroo was an excellent fit for our 23rd family ski weekend getaway! With three generations, we have many different needs from a home—bedrooms on different levels, room for games, large group dining—and Buckaroo did not disappoint. Everything was in great repair, very clean and very pleasant decor and roominess. Thanks for sharing your lovely home with us. We will try to come back.

The home’s heating system had significant issues. On the first floor, the master bedroom was noticeably colder than the rest of the house, and the master bathroom appeared to lack any temperature control, making it uncomfortably cold throughout our stay. While we tried to use the space heaters provided by the property management, they were insufficient. Additionally, the oven’s temperature control system was outdated and difficult to use, resulting in unevenly dispersed heat. Despite these issues, the property itself was wonderful, and its proximity to the slopes was exceptional.

This house was so clean and in amazing condition. The location was great - very close to the village. We would absolutely stay there again!

Positives: Large foyer and mudroom with bench for removing shoes. Kitchen/dining/living room easily accommodated 10 adults. Outdoor area with picnic table and fire pit with plenty of seating. Quiet neighborhood. Negatives: We had to clean up several piles of dog poop near the fire pit area. No firewood, we had to drive around to find a place to purchase it. Screened porch furniture was stained and dirty. Lack of basic amenities: We were provided with 2 kitchen towels, 2 extra kitchen garbage bags, 5 dishwasher pods,1 roll of paper towel, no basic cleaning supplies. Contacted Vacasa about the lack of supplies for a party of 10 adults and was told we were “free to replenish these items independently, as needed”. Basic essential toiletries were at a bare minimum. Thin cheap bathroom towels, cheap bedding and pillows, thick dust on ceiling fans. The bed in the main floor master bedroom sits very high. A 5’4” family member staying in that room needed to get a step stool from the garage in order to climb in and out of bed. The main floor community bathroom toilet was leaking into the downstairs mechanical room. I filed a report the first day but the bathroom toilet was not fixed during our stay. No instructions for how to lock the front door, no listing of emergency numbers, no listed location of first aid kit and fire extinguisher. We eventually found the fire extinguisher under the kitchen sink, the first aid kit was located in one of the many kitchen drawers.

It was great and have rebooked for next year

We had a family vacation here with adults and children. This house is beautiful with lots of room for big families!

We’ve been going to Crystal mountain for many years and enjoy all the activities and towns surrounding us. We left a bag of dirty laundry and they found it and are mailing it back to us!
