Great house for girlfriends weekend!

This was a wonderful house for a long weekend getaway that 6 girls planned. The home is nicely decorated, clean, just as listed in the online review and very comfortable. I would say that the 4th bedroom downstairs isnt really one anybody would want to stay in - it's basically an unfinished basement with two twin beds. the upstairs, however, was lovely and suited perfectly for our group of 6. I'd rent this property again for sure!

We’ve visited Highlands many times now and Estes Cottage is among the best rental homes we’ve stayed in. Pretty furnishings and updated kitchen and bathrooms made for a lovely home. Best of all, the house is conveniently located a very short drive to downtown Highlands.

Wonderful property! Clean, beautifully decorated, spacious and had everything we needed for a wonderful vacation! Beautiful surroundings as well! Highly recommend this property for a family get together.

My friends and I had a wonderful time at the Estes Cottage. The home is beautifully decorated and welcoming. The well-equipped kitchen and outside porch were highlights. The beds were very comfortable. The reason I gave this home a 4 instead of a 4 is the 4th bedroom in the basement was a disappointment. We had to draw for it and felt bad for my friend who had to sleep there. While I can see that the owners tried their best to make this as welcoming as possible, it was not clear in the listing that this bedroom is on the lower level with cinderblock walls and a toilet. I think this would be find for a family traveling with kids, but for 4 women expecting equal accommodations it fell shore on this point. I'll note that there was a walkout from this level but it still felt like a basement. Otherwise the house is really great and we really had a great time.

The Estes Cottage is a beautiful house centrally located near Highlands. The house is very well furnished with all the equipment needed and very comfortable. Loved the layout and the bedrooms. I would defiantly recommend this home to all my family and friends who make a trip to Highlands!

This experience was perfect from start to finish. The cottage is just gorgeous — the decor is flawless, beds are comfortable, and provisions are thoughtful and complete. I don’t have a single complaint.
