We had an amazing time staying at this property for two nights and would love to have stayed longer. It was the perfect base for attending a wedding in the Willamette wine country. The house itself is gorgeous, and it is comfortably furnished with everything you need. We enjoyed relaxing on the front porch, and in the living room. There was also plenty of space in the bedrooms and upstairs tv room for folks who wanted some time on their own. We walked to dinner and the shops, which are just around the corner from the house. Check-in and check-out were both easy, and communication with the host was timely, polite, and helpful. We want to come back and stay longer next time! All in all, a great stay.

This historic home is ideally located within walking distance of downtown McMinnville with great shops and restaurants, including a wonderful food truck across the street. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was well appointed. The team was very responsive when the internet needed to be upgraded. The front porch was great to sit, relax and chat.

My family and I stayed in the most charming home in downtown McMinnville. We were comfortable in the spacious bedrooms and beautifully newly renovated downstairs bathroom. The kitchen was fully stocked and had everything we needed to cook. You can walk anywhere downtown and the neighborhood is quiet. We loved the front porch And sat out there mingling with a cocktail in the evening. Check in was easy and smooth. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone looking for a great getaway!

What a house! Staying at the Historic Wortman House was like stepping back in time with all the comfort of today. The history behind the architecture and the antique furnishings throughout made for great conversation pieces—each item seemed to tell its own story. Every room had a unique personality, offering a fresh experience with each turn. Best of all, the location was perfect—just a short walk to fantastic shops and restaurants. This home is a true gem for anyone who appreciates charm, history, and convenience.

This spacious home would be worth a trip just to enjoy the beautiful woodwork. The original owner of this historic residence in McMinnville, Oregon has a park named after him. Located just a few blocks from the historic downtown and right across the street from a great brewery, it is still quiet and private with tasteful upgrades that provide a seamless up-to-date experience within an environment that evokes turn-of-the-20th century elegance. We visited during the rainy season, but were warm and toasty in this spacious residence. Comfortable beds, extremely well-stocked kitchen and responsive hosts. The only improvement I could suggest is to keep the exterior hardscape de-mossed and the porch furniture clean. We had some unexpectedly warm spring weather, but the porch furniture was uninviting. I'd also suggest replacing the kitchen rug and making sure the kitchen floor gets a mopping. Rest of house was spotless.

Just one block off the main street in charming McMinnville! The large front porch is ideal for enjoying morning coffee or evening drinks. The house itself is warm and inviting, with a well-equipped kitchen and excellent showers in both bathrooms. We also loved the history of the home. The highlight, though, was the amazing local support team—they were quick to respond to any questions we had. Highly recommend and would definitely book again!

A group of us women stayed here for a wine-tasting weekend, and it was absolutely perfect. The house is spacious yet cozy, with comfy beds and two wonderful bathrooms—one upstairs and one downstairs. There’s plenty of seating, an office space, and excellent WiFi. It had everything we needed to stay on top of work while also relaxing and having fun. It was the ideal spot for reading, playing games, and enjoying quality time with the girls!

We had a fantastic time during our stay. It was a reunion of old friends and distant family, and it was so special to reconnect with everyone. This house turned out to be the perfect spot for our gathering. It struck an ideal balance of being both spacious and cozy, offering a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Plus, it was conveniently located within walking distance of several great places to eat.

The home is on a dead-end street so not a lot of traffic. My husband and I LOVED the porch! This is a wonderful location and the craftsmanship of the home was beautiful, like a charming little piece of history!
