Stayed Jan 10, 2026The property could not be accessed for a couple of hours after our arrival because the app to open the door lock had not been synced, according to our VRBO host. After finally entering the house we found it was heated to only 56 degrees. We turned up the thermostat to 70 and after 4 hours the temperature had only risen to 62 degrees. At bedtime the temperature was still so low that sitting on the toilet felt like sitting on ice, The bedding also felt ice cold.

Stayed Oct 17, 2025This was the perfect house for our stay up north. It is close to many cute shops and restaurants. The beds were all comfy and the photos don't do it justice for all the historical character of the house. We appreciated all the extra blankets and pillows. The kids loved the game chest with tons of family games. While we were busy most of the daylight hours enjoying the surrounding area we were happy to come back here at night to put our feet up.

Stayed Oct 6, 2025Wonderful, cute place just off downtown, but also a short walk to Miner's Lake. Literally, a 100 ft walk to a coffee/deli business and a 2nd one across the street. When we ate at a restaurant, we were able to easily walk to them. It was a perfect place for us to use as a basecamp to hope in the car and explore the area but to also stay in for grilling and having a fire in the back yard. Will definitely look for availability of this house for my next trip to Ely.

Stayed Jul 11, 2025a great location and plenty of space for us. The screen porch was one of our favorites spots to hang out and read or play games. The home is in the heart of Ely which made it super easy just to pop out for dinner, shopping or a walk around miners lake. Host was very responsive and check in was easy.
