Oak is in a beautiful location right on the lake. We love the sun porch. The AC wall mounted unit was a very nice addition. Everything was clean and in good condition. This is the third time we have stayed in Oak and have been coming to this resort every year for over 20 years.

I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the vacation was good. For years people werent allowed to park their vehicles by their cabin. That is no longer the case. you feel like you are walking through a parking lot to get from the parking lot to the beach.People are also allowed to have fires on the ground by their cabins, which is something new. Once you maneuver around the cars, you have to walk around teh ash piles. Need more than 3 fire pits for the resort.

The cabin had a good location and was clean and had new appliances and loads of pots, pans and dishes. The enclosed porch was a bonus.

We were happy to see new kitchen appliances, mainly the fridge! The old one had been very overdue for replacement. The cottage does get very hot and stuffy if it is warm outside. We did bring fans, but it is still hot. A portable air conditioning unit for the main room would be a welcome addition. Since the rates are going up a substantial amount for 2022, I look forward to seeing an enhancement such as air conditioning or a dishwasher.

We've been renting for 13 years and one new chair. For the cost and consistent increase in cost owners need to do more. Need to review exponential rising costs for a cottage with no a/c, crummy sofas, etc. Need water to be hotter please! Not hot enough to clean dishes properly.

Your bs cancelation policy and bad management should be embarrassing. You should all take lessons from Jim and Mary that use to run Elberts, they knew how to treat people and run a business You’ve screwed me for the last time on a deposit when trails get bad or family emergencies come up.
